Was i being an jerk?
twouys came to the gym with their sister,girlfriend(of the one guy)They aren't particularly fond of me because of tension i've had with her(she's persian so it's a different culture)and various incidents.They were in one section working out and i basically stayed near them in that section and glanced at them from time to time and i wouldn't venture too much out of there.Eventually the guy looked at me when my back was turned.Do you think they were annoyed?I don't take crap from anyone although i wasn't trying to start anything i stayed steadfast in the areain.(i continued to work out,but kept my eye on them as well).I didn't go anywhere near the girl though.She looked like she may have wanted to talk but i just ignored her.But anyway,about the two guys,why were they giving me those vibes?

Asking for an answer by pointing out someone’s ethnicity is a biased way of asking something, at first place.
Secondly, you are self-engrossed & make quite a few assumptions like ‘you think or you felt she wanted to speak with you.’
Finally, if you have such a gut feeling that she wants to talk to you, then why cannot you behave like a normal person and go and talk to her? Why would you give a damn to the two guys, whosoever they may be to her, if you really feel that the signals she’s is giving to you are strong enough.
If she or the guys disturb you then you can simply change your timings or change the gym, else took her off your mind.
What, are you afraid of the Iranians?
Go and tell the bushy, he will positively reconsider his near-future plans for Iran!
Grow up dude, your questions about the Iranian girl makes me sick of myself!

Wow, that is a lot of information, but nothing to really go on...
Sounds like a bunch of typical 'alpha male dogs' eyeing each other trying to decide if there is a threat or not.
Just like other species, this behavior intensifies when food or females are present.
You sound like you were just using your more primitive / survival instinct brain... and so were they.
If you can overcome this and show some respect / kindness / consideration, you will find that this is typically disarming and helps to de-escalate the tension you noted with the situation in your example.
Jerk, no, but using the lizard brain, yes. And that is nothing to be ashamed of -- it helps keep you alive!

Dude, you have too many question marks in your story, you cant live with question marks next time be fair to yourself and clarify things, (for yourself) vibes dont mean squat, and looks even less, and being shady never pays off, be an all around nice guy, be indifferent to possible hostillity, and you will be at peace with yourself and be at comfort knowing that if there is hostility and tention, at least its not coming from your end,

umm...you're probably not going to encounter them for a long time. So this really doesn't matter. You just looked at them...jeese what so weird about it? I mean what can't you look at. You should just be glad that you didn't get into a verbal (or maybe even physical) fight over a staring competition. How is just glancing at them once at a time, being a jerk. If ther persian girl was hot....i would understand then lol.

Obviously by constantly staring at her the boys must have suspected that you are no good.There are better ways of getting in touch than just staring with open salivating mouth.

Why don't you just leave them alone?...Why do you have to 'keep an eye on them'? Sounds a bit weird.
You might want to be careful if she is Persian she might well be a Muslim and male relatives do not take kindly to non Muslims staring at Muslim women.

Because guys do not want other guys on their property. You were giving their girls looks, and he felt u were trespassing. Guys are very territorial, especially when it comes to their women. Anyway, r u persian? If u are, i bet ur hot!!!!

Given the situation, it sounds like you were all acting normally. They kept an eye on you -- because of your previous behavior. You kept an eye on them -- because of YOUR previous behavior. All of you avoided a new incident.
