No Christians aren't afraid to confront reality. we believe in everything the Bible tells us, the Bible is from God - his promises to us. There is a Heaven - a wonderful place where we will go when we die and there is a hell - those who choose not to follow Jesus will end up there, a place where they will be separated from God forever. We know that it is place of eternal damnation and torment, we know that hell is where unbelievers are destined for. Just as we know that before Jesus comes back for us, life on Earth will get much worse before it gets better. we aren't scared to confront reality because we have God beside us every step of the way. we can get thru anything with him beside us.

No, I am not afraid to confront reality.

You are unwilling to accept that my reality is different than yours. The Bible is not a myth. Heaven is not a myth, nor is Hell.

You're just somewaht arrogant and are a bit intolerant of others.
You refuse to accept other beliefs. That is the problem.

I hope you're having a good day.

'The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence'. Keeping that in mind how can you discard hell, heaven and bible story's as myths. You haven't died and come back and you were not around when those story's were supposedly written - so how can you disprove anything? Maybe the reality you have chosen to accept is the wrong one... you'll never know until you die

All you can do really is live a good live and respect everybody's beliefs about creation.

Well, in comparison with Jewish & Muslim ideologies their realities fail.

How everyone, good or bad, will be treated evenly & might be shown to Paradise?

Why would God kill himself for His creation? Is not God powerful enough to decree instead? Are not the words of God good & strong enough to change what a God wants to change for humans?

If God lives & dies, is God a creation?

It's all hodgepodge of nightmares by Pagan Romans who hijacked Jesus’ teachings and developed crooked concepts – for those who are not using their brains or might be irrational enough to accept the crooked ideas – when they start using reasoning & rational, the entire concept becomes a question mark, so they have to rely on the lies after lies to support their concepts!

Alas, when will they recognize the truth!

Are not they aware of the Jewish religions concepts, especially when their half the book comprises of Old Testament. Let us not consider Muslim concepts, which are all ready in such a close proximity with that of the Jewish.

Yes, Christians are scared & confused in so many sects, no doubt about it!

You don't state your version of reality. However we are not scared to confront them. They exist doubtless. We consider the bible as truth and not myths.

I guess you are trying to state that our belief in "bible myths, heaven, hell, etc" is not reality. Are you so arrogant that you KNOW the only reality is the one you can discern with your eyeballs? You non-believing whiners are unable to be bold enough to take a chance that there is something you can't see, can't prove, can't touch but at the same time you daily breathe in air. There is no proof of air. There is a man made decision that there is air. Those men have put together things to back up their idea. That does not make it so. Men are small, finite, lowly, stupid beings who have to go around "proving" themselves because they are not bold enough to stand on faith.

We do confront reality every moment of our lives. You forget that we actually know Christ and have the privilege of seeing what you can't yet see. It is not the Christian who cannot see reality. We see it clearly and our constant prayer is that everyone's eyes will also be opened :)

I fear not Death or the reality that is coming, why fear it only fuels the fires.

Regarding bible, myths, hell & heaven let it be so, remember we all die many deaths.

Are you frightened.

We also die many times as the soul, to further our learning.

I am sure many do, as much as many Atheists must wonder what created the elements to create the "Big-Bang".

To my mind, it is possible to learn something from most everyone, matters little what kind of faith they use to understand what is good in life.
