It's an amusing story. The Jews wrote a rather interesting if twisted work of fiction to explain things that baffled them and created a being they called god. That "god" said they were the chosen ones which made other peoples jealous so first the "Christians" ripped off what they called the old testament and added a number of books on *their* fictional Deity. THEN about 5 or 600 years later a man named Mo claimed to have seen an angel and blah blah blah the third religion was born which was had generous portions of both the Jewish and christian religions thrown in but altered to fit Mo's whims.

I can only answer in respect to the Bible.
Where did you get the idea that in the New Testament the law was changed to forgiveness. I do suggest you study some more.
The Jews who presented the woman to Jesus whom they said was caught in the act of adultery were not the governing authority of the land. The government was in the hands of the Romans, thus they would be the ones to decide the punishment to the woman.
Jesus on his part did not come at the time he was ask to pass judgment on the woman as a judge. On that visit he was here to be a light. On his next visit he will be a judge. The reply of Jesus to the Jews who did present the woman was designed to convince them of their own sinful condition. Maybe it was to remind them that the "wages of all sins is death, not just adultery"
Please my friend for your sake do study more

It is not the weather of Abraham's Changing rules. It's a Religious War over many religions around the world. For say that religion is argument "Politics" that has been going on many centruies the very day of birth of religion or may say christianity. Many diversities of religions around the world argue which religion is right, proper, the actual god's law and the law.
It will be laid down in the end when God comes to take all human kind in his own hands. We will be held before the court of heaven...for those of unwillingness will go to depths of hell for banishment... let god do the work. For your time on earth, cherish everyday life and moment and live it. I recomend not to wast your time arguing the question.
until get the beers in....

Abraham's God is not the God of Islam & God does not change his laws, charicter or nature EVER.
O.T
Mal 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
N.T
Heb 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
The penilty for sin is still the same, however God is good & his mercy endures forever.
Gal 5:19-21 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness, Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies, Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

The problem with the Torah is the men would stone the woman and let the man get away free, as written in the Bible. Also it was primitive.
Jesus came and ordered killing stopped. So any that believe in Jesus should follow his words and God's. Not what they would like. But different counties and times have made a variety of laws in many areas over the years.
With the Muslims, men want more control than Jesus said, so they added a lot more pain, to give themselves a thrill. They are not obeying Jesus, just their lusts.

HE didnt CHANGE the RULES
First the GOd of the OT is still GOD today just then sin was punishable cause there was no continual sacrific nor covering for it!!
the GOD of the NT is still GOD just with a better way cause of HIS OWN Sacrific for that sin and a continual mediation , untill the time appointed and an end
and the god of the quran isnt GOD at all....but what a people tried to enterpret from the origional...yet with the the desires of man to compensate thier own wants and what they Thought was best for themselves
Just like ALL non-believers do...they have a god...just isnt the ONE TRUE GOD...of Abraham !!

In the Old Testament (which is same as Jewish Torah) God was trying to teach people what life would be like without grace and forgiveness. Forgiveness was made possible because of the death of Christ Who took upon Himself the punishment for sins.
"For the law was given by Moses, [but] grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." (John 1:17)
Quran is a poor copy of the Old Testament. Also, with no Christ in it there is no concept of grace and forgiveness.

In the Kuwaiti Encyclopedia of Islamic Jurisprudence, we read the following:
Ibn Qudamah wrote: “Muslim jurists are unanimous on the fact stoning to death is a specified punishment for married adulterer and adulteress. The punishment is recorded in number of traditions and the practice of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) stands as an authentic source supporting it. This is the view held by all Companions, Successors and other Muslim scholars...”

The law affects those who break it, not those who live by them.
What I mean is if a man does not murder, he has not fear of being found guilty under the law and being put to death.
Yet, a murder is guilty under the law and should be put to death.
In today's world, man has changed the penalties given from God for each law. For instance, things that men were put to death for years ago, such as homosexuality, were deemed too harsh by man so the laws were changed. And look at the end result. Homosexuality is now legal and socially aceptable.
How long oh Lord before you come and excute judgment upon the face of this earth?

Well, if you believe in God, it clearly is not the same God.
If you don't believe in an all-powerful God, it is clearly different deities or prophets with completely different messages. Makes no sense at all that the Koran should be so different from the New Testament. Why would a God who focuses on forgiveness encourage torture? In what POSSIBLE way is torture, in any way, a positive force?
