in john 5:3, "i can of mine own self do nothing..."
the above line is refered to jesus when he claimed that he can do nothing by himself, meaning to say, he is lack of power.

john 14:28, "...my Father is greater than i."
the above statement also says that the lord (father) is greater than jesus, so jesus is imperfect god.

deuteronomy 6:4,
"hear, o israel: the lord our god is one lord."
jesus told everyone that there is only ONE god, none else beside him includes jesus.

so, the question is, is jesus a god? or begotten son of god?? ehh, there is no such thing of begotten in any bible versions nowadays except for king james version. if jesus is a god, he is imperfect. but, do you know that, everything that imperfect isn't god. god must be perfect because god is god.

another, god must do the goddy thing. do you expect a god to has sex? nor eating? somewhere in the bible says, "behold the man of gluttinous, and the winebibber.."
ha? a gluttinous god?? very funny.

sgt slaughter

You quote: I and the father are one. John 10:30

This statement of Jesus means that
What ever I say is what God says.
Jesus said about next Prophet Mohammad
God will put words in his mouth and
Mohammad always said
I say what God has commanded him to say.
Statements of both Prophets carry same meanings.

Doesn't it make any sense to you sgnt. slaugher

You are taking wrong meaning of the statement of Jesus.
He never said in Bible any where that He is God himself.
Why did he never clearly said, that he is son of God or God. Because he neither was God nor son of God.
We do find him saying in Bible:
I worship Father, I worship Lord, You worship Father, You worship Lord. Jesus used to worship God (Lord) what ever you call.

Your Priests/peachers what ever you call them ingnore the
clear statements of Jesus and base their religion on
Conjectures - false meanings derived out of unclear words of Jesus.

These are more clear statements saying that he worshipped God. Then how can Jesus be a God himself?

You have asked several honest questions. Let's see if i can help you out.

in john 5:3, "i can of mine own self do nothing..."
This speaks of Jesus as God in human form. He gave up dependence on His power and deity to trust in the Father alone.

john 14:28, "...my Father is greater than i."
This does not mean that the Father is God and Jesus is not. 'Greater' simply means that as a father has greater authority and respect than a son does, so the Father is greater than the Son.

deuteronomy 6:4, "hear, o israel: the lord our god is one lord."
The word translated 'one' means 'one composed of several.' This word use used that way in several places in the OT, such as when Adam and Eve were 'one' flesh. They were 'one' but composed of two persons. This verse opens up the possibility of the doctrine of the Trinity, of God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (which is evidenced in other places in Scripture).

if jesus is a god, he is imperfect. but, do you know that, everything that imperfect isn't god. god must be perfect because god is god.
I think you have picked up these verses from someone who does not like Jesus, so you have not really examined the controversy on your own. There are many passages that show Jesus as godlike. Read John 5 to see a few of them:

5:21, 28-29, the Son will raise people from the dead.
5:22, 27, the Son will judge all people.
5:23, the Father wants all people to honor the Son the say way they honor the Father.
5:24 whoever believes on Jesus has everlasting life.

Would you say these sayings are true for any normal person?

Christ is “a mighty god” in the same sense that God’s angels were called “gods” and the judges of Israel were called “gods” by God himself (also by Jesus - John 10:34, 35), and Moses was called “a god” by Jehovah himself.

Yes, men and angels were called gods (elohim - Hebrew; theos - Greek) in a proper, but subordinate, sense by Jehovah and his inspired Bible writers. Although they were given this elevated title in a proper sense (not false gods), it was obviously with the clear understanding that it in no way implied a comparison with the Most High, Only True God. (A bank employee calling his boss, the head of the bank, “the president” would certainly not imply an equality of position, power, etc. with “The President”.

The word “god” as understood by those who used that term simply meant a “mighty one” - see Young’s Concordance. In fact the word “Mighty” as found at Is. 9:6 (Gibbor in the original Hebrew) is also applied to the angels at Ps. 103:20 (see a modern concordance such as the New American Standard Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible). It is interesting that the ancient translation of the Old Testament that Jesus frequently quoted, the Septuagint Version, renders Is. 9:6: “and his [the Messiah’s] name is called the Angel [aggeloV, messenger] of Great Counsel.”

The very early (ca. 160 A.D.) Christian Justin Martyr quoted Is. 9:6 also as “The Angel of mighty counsel” - “Dialogue With Trypho,” ch. LXXVI.

So, just as “Lord” was applied to anyone in authority: angels, masters over servants, husbands, etc., so, too, could “god” be applied to anyone (good or bad) who was considered a “mighty person.” Of course only one person could be called the “Most High God,” or the “Only True God,” or the “Almighty God”!

No, Jesus was not God. If he was God, he could not have been the Messiah for not being a biological son of Joseph's, who was the one from the Tribe of Judah. Besides, Jesus could not even have been the son of God because such a concept comes from Greek mythology, and Jesus was Jewish.

Jesus is not God and it says that in about 500 places in the New Testament alone. Jesus was sent here because he was the only angel that had not sinned against God. He believed in obeying God above all else. Jesus is sitting BESIDE God now, not in God's lap.
Most Christians today want an "image" to make in their minds of God, even though there is a Commandment ordering us not to do that. They figure IF they call Jesus "God" they can get away with it. But no where in Bible dose it say that.
Take heed of these words you wrote. There are a few religions that obey the Bible; not mans lust to sin.

you obviously know nothing about Christianity, you're just picking and choosing verses.
try these ones then..In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God-John 1:1
Who was that Word that was with God then?
it was Jesus-the Word made flesh.
Jesus said-"Before Abraham was I AM"-The Jewish priests knew He was referring to Himself as God and ordered He put to death for blasphemy.
When Jesus felt tired, helpless, scared etc.that was the human nature he experienced, how could He reconcile Himself to fallen mankind and be a perfect mediator for us if he didn't experience what it was to be human then?
As for sex?-you totally misunderstand the Holy scriptures, the Holy Spirit came in unto Mary, not in a physical union but a spiritual union, this is how she is referred to as a virgin despite being pregnant.
Your own Qur'an says this of Mary-look it up!-If i'm wrong then so is your infallible book.
-For God SO LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten son that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life-John 3:16

There's a verse for you to think about.

It is controversial whether Jesus ever existed, or if he did exist, was a god.

The first council of nicea (325AD) met to discuss and decide and decree that Jesus was of the same substance of god, making him a god. Similarly, this decree made the faction that supported the concept of Jesus as similar (but not the same) substance of god, go into hiding, for fear of excommunication (which eventually happened).

Absolutely not. Emphatically not. Are you kidding.

Jesus is GOD! not a god.

Please answer this question:

How many times have you as well as others, who take this position, read the Bible from cover to cover and have you ever compared scripture to scripture to get the truth or are you just trying to discredit the one who even Isaiah
the prophet spoke of as follows:

Isa 9:1 Nevertheless the dimness [shall] not [be] such as [was] in her vexation, when at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, and afterward did more grievously afflict [her by] the way of the sea, beyond Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.

Isa 9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them hath the light shined.

Isa 9:3 Thou hast multiplied the nation, [and] not increased the joy: they joy before thee according to the joy in harvest, [and] as [men] rejoice when they divide the spoil.

Isa 9:4 For thou hast broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder, the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.

Isa 9:5 For every battle of the warrior [is] with confused noise, and garments rolled in blood; but [this] shall be with burning [and] fuel of fire.

Isa 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Isa 9:7 Of the increase of [his] government and peace [there shall be] no end, upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this.

The problem is that many see Jesus as a little baby in a manger and then a man on a cross dying.

The eternal Word of God emphatically, in-errantly, and unmistakeably declares by Jesus himself, by God the Father, by God the Holy Spirit, by prophets of old and apostles also that The Lord Jesus Christ is God and that God purchased His Church by His blood.

Act 20:27 For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.

Act 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Act 20:29 For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

Act 20:30 Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

Act 20:31 Therefore watch, and remember, that by the space of three years I ceased not to warn every one night and day with tears.

Act 20:32 And now, brethren, I commend you to God, and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up, and to give you an inheritance among all them which are sanctified.

AMEN!

He is now a god (little g) but not the God, Jesus' Father.

After being resurrected, the received promotion in power to the second most powerful in the universe and King of God's Kingdom. That makes him deserving of (g) god title although he himself calls only for worship of his Father as he worships Him.

When we see the face of Jesus, we see the face of God.
"I and the Father are one"

1Ti 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: (God was manifest in the flesh), justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

I'm curious. Jesus Christ has set millions of people free from sin & a host of dibilitating addictions. Healed many of terrible diseases, & even raised some from the dead, today in our lifetime. Islam has subjagated & enslaved millions of people & continues to do so; why do you think Islam is actually Godly?

What do you think?
