There is only One Man worth following -- and that is Jesus Christ, Himself. Any man whom stands in the place of Jesus Christ is an antichrist.

God bless.

Well, technically the pope was meant for ALL Christians not just Catholics, however not ALL Christians choose to follow him. And following him doesnt mean you're following a man, we do not worship the Pope, we worship God. However we do believe the Pope is our spiritual guide closest to God. And YES there have been corrupt Popes, thats why we need to be people of prayer in order to discern what to and what to not follow. =]

they do.. they just dont all realize it.. all christians are basically catholic.. anyone that uses the bible is using the catholic bible.. the bible didnt exist til around 300 a.d.. prior to this there were 'canons'.. a canon was like the bible, a collection of scriptures.. they varied slightly from church to church.. around 300 a.d. is when the catholic church edited these canons, creating the bible.. it was debated but, ultimately up to the pope as to which books made it in the bible.. most people just have a cloak over their eyes...
