John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

Did Mary take advantage of her carpenter husband by letting God be the father of her first child?

Would most marriage counselors today counsel against such liberal behavior saying that it might have a large, negative impact on a good marriage to Joseph?

According to one of the answers in one of my previous questions, someone (I forget who; look if it’s important to you) thinks that agnostics are perhaps wiser for saying “I don’t know” instead saying, “There is no evidence but I believe in a god anyway,” or “It is simply not possible for all humans concepts of gods to be true therefore, none of them are true.” Do you guys really think that “I don’t know” is a wise answer?

Those that are close to me will know the background of the story, but in a nutshell I have a bad relationship with my parents. I was supposed to stay at college over Christmas break but the college changed their mind and I had to come home. Back in May or June I had a dream that I know God gave to me. He finally showed me what the dream means, and its a task that I have to do for Him (and me kinda) and I dislike it. So I'm home and the conditions are perfect to do the task but the evil hate that I have for my parents is really strong and I'm stuggling to do this. So I've been praying for help, and the conditions of the home are so perfect for it that its crazy, but inside I feel too weak, I don't know how to fix that. Today I found out that in 9 days its going to be more open and almost like do or die for me.

Any suggestions?

Sometimes I hope there is an afterlife so I can see those two tried for crimes against humanity. Spreading anthropocentric bullcrap, inflating the egos, and inspriing countless generations to murder, torture, persecuate, and wage wars.

Before I start, please forgive me for asking what might be a stupid question. I am 17 and interested in Satanism. I want to learn more about it and make it a part of my life. I researched Satanism at first out of curiosity, but found that what I was reading made a lot of sense and matched my own beliefs quite a bit, so I started to research Satanism to learn more about it and how to make it a part of my life. In my search I found two sites that caught my attention, www.joyofsatan.com and www.churchofsatan.com . I read the welcome links and other things on the two sites. I think I have a basic idea of what they're teaching, but I have a question about them. Do the two sites teach and talk about the same Religion or are they different? And if they are different..how so?

Jesus was a joyful person, continually urging his followers to be joyful. He explains to his disciples, "I have told you this so that my joy may be in you and that your joy may be complete" (John 15:11).

There is a more personal answer to the question. I believe that Jesus Christ loves me. I cannot imagine that anyone without a sense of humor could do that. How could he possibly take a look at my life—my foibles and my sins—and still declare that he loves me, without at least a little smile? So many times he must shake his head now and look ahead to my eternity in heaven, where my own laughter will never cease (Psalm 126:2).

Jesus wants us to be happy, enjoy life, have fun, laugh, so why cannot we laugh on R&S, does it have to be serious all the time, share a joke, lighten up and laugh

Do you think we can do this on R&S?

O.K. I know it has to do with sex! What I want to know is this.... If I was a virgin (yeah right) and I had pre-marital sex with another virgin, is "that" considered adultery? Reason I am confused was a pastor said it was, but, if 2 virgins have sex, doesn't the act make them married in God's eyes? Which pretty much dissolves the concept of there even being a possibility of a term "pre-marital sex if the act makes you married. I'm reminded of the woman at the well who said she was gathering water for her husband, and Christ said as a matter of fact you have multiple husbands. (something like 6-7) Did she actually have 6-7 wedding ceremonies and forgot to divorce each prior groom, or was the act of having sex with a different guy each time the reason she was considered married to each guy? If this is the case, how can there be a term "adultery" when you are married by the act, and you can not be labeled an adulterer by having sex with your husband? No self-righteous idiots please!

"Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me."

Does taking up your cross ever get so heavy that you've felt you could walk no further?

In Matthew 5:39, Jesus says:

"Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also."

Do you agree with Jesus that you shouldn't resist an evil person, and that you shouldn't try to defend yourself when someone hits you?
