Yes, it seems absurd. As absurd as the need to "reach God." Why? What does that really accomplish? Getting an E-ticket to some eternal Disneyland versus being tossed into a volcano? And yet we're supposed to believe in a god that is omniscient, omnipotent and omnibenevolent? How do you fit all those together with any sort of rational sense of the universe? The closest to reaching god would be to dissolve your boundaries, to become one with nature. I don't think humans can do that for any length of time, but it feeds the spirit a lot more than straining to believe everything in some old books fits together as some great, monolithic truth.

So you think that most Religious questions are "garbage"?
You sound frustrated and upset. Why is that! I suggest that maybe you should go to another site if you are unhappy in this one.
Please do not look at certain things as "garbage", because that would mean that you are judging and I am sure you wouldn't want to do that, right?

I am absolutely bored out of mind by the repeat questions, especially since all of the previous identical questions come up the minute you start typing the question, so it's not like people don't kow that the question has been asked before.
I have a lot of 360 friends here, and it's always fun to see their questions and answers. Yeah, without that, it wouldn't be much fun at all.

A year ago this was a different type of place and there were genuine questions, meaning deeper questions than what appear here these days. I think people recognize they will get abused if they ask a sincere question. It is too bad.

Stick to the facts and what this section is all about, it is not intended to make fun of others and mess with their heads, that's what creates all the arguments.EDIT>>> repeat questions are boring as heck, I don't bother answering them

I do customer service. Repeating the same things over and over is just part of my life. It's how you educate the public.

yeah it gets kind of repetitive, but when you put it into perspective you understand why... new people join the forum every day, so, it is constant. but it is nevertheless, enjoyable still.
