According to one of the answers in one of my previous questions, someone (I forget who; look if it’s important to you) thinks that agnostics are perhaps wiser for saying “I don’t know” instead saying, “There is no evidence but I believe in a god anyway,” or “It is simply not possible for all humans concepts of gods to be true therefore, none of them are true.” Do you guys really think that “I don’t know” is a wise answer?

If it's the truth, then yes, it's the best answer. If you don't know, then you don't know. At least they're being honest.

I'm agnostic, and i believe saying "i dont know" is better than saying "Yes there is a god" or "No there isnt a god". It's good because no one has any proof that god exists, nor does anyone have proof that he DOESNT exist. It's good to just stay neutral.

Could be. Maybe they meant to say what you have stated above, but were just summarizing. Or, maybe they really don't know and have given it no thougth at all. In that case, no, it's not a wise answer.

In the absence of evidence, it is the only answer. Just because you don't like the answer is not a wise reason to reject it.

Well, if you really don't know, then admitting it is much better than claiming a certainty you don't possess.
It's most definitely better than making up a god as an explanation because you can't admit that you don't know something.
