To your first question, the answer is of course in scripture
Ephesians 4:4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
One body refers to one church, look at Ephesians 1:22 (And He put all things under His feet, and gave Him to be head over all things to the church)
The idea of one church is that it is the universal church we are added to by God
Acts 2:47....And the Lord added to the church daily those who were being saved.
There is one universal church, and local congregations of that universal church

Humans have Spirit. Whether you want to define that extremely narrowly or broadly is up to you. It would make no logical sense for only one interpretation of the human spirit to be 'true' while all others are 'false'. Sounds more like a way to control people than a way to understand what the human spirit is, how it works, and how to foster it's growth. Dogma and doctrine are man-made. Didn't humans always have souls? If you believe in Creation, why would any Creator fill the world with such variety but limit the 'truth' of the spirit to a single tribe? Absolutist ideas about a thing so awesome and malleable as the spirit is the sign of a social constraint. Like a political movement. The workings of man. The spirit is wild and free. I deny ideas like the need for Salvation, Original Sin, Damnation, and the dualistic idea of one all good god and one evil tempter. If you really want the 'truth', you must not believe anything you yourself haven't experienced. Only you can feel it for you. Only you can let it in. Noone else can speak the words on your lips. Be a seeker, not a following lamb.

There is only one true Church and that is the Catholic Church.
Don't take it from me take it from a 40 year deciple of the Apostle John.
"Let that be deemed a proper Eucharist, which is [administered] either by the bishop, or by one to whom he has entrusted it. Wherever the bishop shall appear, there let the multitude[of the people] also be; even as, wherever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church."
The term was written down by St. Ignatius of Antioch. Antioch is where the term "Christian" was first used.
When did the term "Catholic" come about?
The oldest writing of the term is from St. Ignatius of Antioch.
I have heard as early as 107 AD or as late as 110 AD. Either way it happened before St. Ignatius died in 117 AD.
St. John died in 96 AD. The word Catholic was probably being used orally before it was written down. One can assume this due to the context of the letter. Ignatius doesn't explain what he means by "catholic", he just uses the term as though everyone knew what he is talking about.
It is conceivable that the term was being used by Christians while St. John was still alive.

There is one true Christian Church of the Nicene faith
All who are baptized into the Trinity(in the name of the father,Son and holy Spirit) are members of the Church(even if in imperfect communion with its fullness which i believe to be the Catholic Church) if they profess that faith of the Nicene Creed
I do not believe that the Christian Churches are the "spawn of Babylon" ;although that phrase does have a neat ring to it, it applies to immorality condoned and to apsostasy applauded.
Happy Advent and Christmastide!.

I think that the Catholics have a point in there being only one true church, because the shepherd knows his sheep, and they know his name. However, we don't know who is written in the book of life, and neither should we make those kinds of judgments.
That said, people can be saved and still be in error on some points that have little or nothing to do with salvation.

There is no such things as a true church or religion. Why? Religions built churches and religion and all of their dogma is nothing but lies and if truth be told all would fall down. Religion is the worst thing ever passed into the general public as it causes the weak minded to become insane.

There is only one true church of which no individual denomination encompasses. The one true church is composed of all who genuinely believe in the Biblical Jesus - the Son of God, regardless of what denomination that may be aligned with.

You have 3 questions there...
No - churches are as diverse as people
Yes - no one can have multiple faiths...it's a contradiction
Maybe - baptism does exist...and there have been lots of them...
