Over and over we hear how the relegious rules of Islam seem to take over in every country. Now in Canada a father has killed his own daughter. Even in Canada where women are supposed to have equal rights, the women of Islam appear to be little more then house keepers, baby makers and are abused without hesitation by thier husbands. As far as I'm concerned, there should not even be a trial...just toss the father in jail and throw the key away.
If all life is supposed to be a creation of God, what's up with Islam? So the question is simple, "what should the father be sentenced to for this action?" (Please, if you are part of Islam, do not post a relegious answer. I'm looking for opinions in light of the crime based on Canadain Law).

It's really not their place.
From what I've seen, they tend to be extreme hypocrites.

Then again, they have no ideals of sin and/or virtue.

I'd like some elaboration.

I believe Jesus saved all of creation, including everyone that ever existed, and I don't do good works or religious works to please him cause I believe he is already pleased. I don't confess sins cause I don't think its necessary for salvation.
Am I going to hell?
Yes = must have correct theology.
No = Jesus really is might to save.

I have to have a paper tomorrow on my patron saint/confirmation name. Does anyone know if there is a patron saint of responsibility, or like good grades or maybe against procrastination. Or maybe like a really pretty french name or something of the sort.

Thanks!!!

and did hundreds of hours of Bible study. Although that all helped turn me into an atheist, I do have a pretty good understanding of where the Christian mindset lies.

Now, would you be willing - in the spirit of understanding and learning - to listen to at least a few minutes of four prominent atheists and give your feedback:

if not, I will understand that this exercise could threaten your religious conviction.

Thanks (and yes, that IS in the form of a question, Alex!)

really i want to know what it is? How come a baby can born with sin? How come somebody can die for our sin? Where is the logic??!!! Whereas Muslim believes every baby is sinless, every person is sinless until he or she commits a sin. Muslim believes everybody is responsible for their own sin, not others.

Are the Cohanim blessed more by God than the other tribes? Were they ever believed to have special powers? Why do they deserve to eat the sacrifices more than any other people?

I really want to convert my religion and become wiccan. But when I told my dad, he had a problem with it and he said "When you move out on your own, you can be whatever religion you want to be" and my dad told me that he was agnostic, but now I think he's Christian...or is there something about wiccan that may turn people off?

Can anyone help me come up with a convincing argument, that being a wiccan is not bad...even though he clearly thinks it's a horrible religion.

And can anyone direct me to some good wiccan websites?

when it wasn't in fact your birthday? So, why all the clatter from Christians about saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Birthday Jesus". I mean, not even educated Christians disagree that Christmas was not the time of Jesus' birth - not even close.

this powerful season of the year when darkness reigns and we wait for the light to return? This is the Going Within time on the Medicine Wheel, a time of introspection. My gift from the heart to all beings is "awakening from slumber," and I begin with myself as I rouse from the darkness of the Cave of Ego. As I transform, my light ignites other lights. Gifts are "for-giving," including forgiving oneself. What gift would you most like to give to the World? Why is this particular gift important to all beings? How will it benefit this World? Be loving and generous...as though the World were your precious child.

should give tithes and I also understand that we should give offerrings.A tithe is tenth or ten precent of our gross earnings ,my question is where in the WORD does it say how much our offerring should be .Is there a place where it says that it should be more than ten precent or more than our tithe it self.I know it is more of a blessing to give and than it is to recieve and that when we give it shall be given unto us.I also know that if we give sparingly that we will also reap sparingly. But is there a place that says a certain amount should be given as it is said concerning tithe. Please give scripture references ONLY .Thank you for your time .Best Wishes>>

The thing is I'm thinking about become agnostic because I feel completly drained out. But before I officially 'change my status' I'd like to get answers to some questions that nobody has ever quite been able to give me a decent answer for, not tricked questions like 'scientists say blabla' it's more about my personal life.
I talked about it with 2 pastors, but they both almost ignored me telling me that I just have to pray more or not to worry everything was going to be fine (not true).
I'm in a foreign country right now and I don't speak the local language well enough to ask local pastors. I know this sounds wierd but is there a chat room somewhere? or even a pastor on Y!A? or just somebody who knows a lot about God and the Bible on Y!A?
Please do not refer me to ultra-conservative christians because it'll just make me even more pissed off than I am right now.

What jesus an Avatar (Hindu Deity)

Now need to read below what im about to post im just spreading my faith.

(Paragraph 1) Eli intelligently designed us all. God is a cosmic energy field in space some billions of light years away. This cosmic energy field has no beginning nor will it have an ending. This energy field is made up of different types and forms of energy. The energy field is all knowing and for some aspects of its energy is in everything.

(Paragraph 2)Have you heard of the big bang theory? According to the big bang the universe was created between ten billion and 20 billion years ago. This cosmic energy field to whom all praise is due to caused and gave the energy for the big bang. In fact there is evidence of Eli for energy can never be created nor can it be destroyed. Well, this supreme cosmic energy field is God and God is this cosmic energy field in space.
