Some people are very sensitive and are easily offended. Some people who send messages are not sensitive either and are quick to offend. Some people just like to talk and are not interested in discussion. They don't want to change their opinions to be challenged. It takes all kinds. But, there are also many ways of communicating, but then I have seen some people shut off all means of communicating and won't even accept an apology for a minor comment. But then that is why some people seek therapy, and some people could use it even if they don't seek it.
