I believe the greatest gift an individual could give the world is to discover God from within oneself. Speak of lighting a candle... by igniting ones own wick, one lights the way for many.
To some, devoted seeking of God while ignoring the world may seem selfish, but I believe one can do no greater service to humanity than fulfilling Mans destiny within oneself.
Peace

What you express above, which speaks to Good Medicine, and which gift is best to accord throughout the seasons, not solely during the annual yuletides, is that selfsame gift that all can make as an opportunity to give, before and after which most individuals of American leaderships in particular, sadly, evidence to overlook and thus falter at availing.
There are myriad cycles and forces of Nature, so set by the varied Orders, Councils, Robes, and Lines, for which each of us in some way is a vehicle and benefactor, though most us of us know it not. And there are the things that man/woman/child imports to the world -- and can -- by his or her unique inventions. From out of the worlds distant and well above ours, there exists still another majestic quality, a living one, of which behavior we are mirrors in intent and action: let is be known here and now that there is the penchant to be opportunists in each of us exactly because such exists Elsewhere or rather, ubiquitously.
EXISTENCE, of which God is a part, necessarily does not focus on any soul's pathway or how that soul chooses to commune with God and Nature but IT does know when opportunities arise and makes no bones about ITs intention to use such opportunities to the best economy... Whenever we avail any opening, brought by Man/Woman/child, however slightly and for however long, Existence swiftly injects great forces to broadened and raise the collective levels throughout any given orb where souls live and abide, on not just this planet, in not just this galaxy. Yet 'we' provide the window of opportunity; and 'IT' accords that provision -- exactly put, the thrust is a group shot. We must earn it simply because we do earn it in any case.
Here and now, as occurring countless times before, and approaching the Winter Solstice (Nature) in tandem again with the 'chosen' time point -- to worship the birth of, say, a one savior (Spiritual) as chosen by humankind -- is still another as great an opportunity as any to impress especial powers of the High Idea, those replete with color and flamboyant form, brilliantly-lit muses and spaciousness, and providing each again to make what was only the potentials before in things we observed and feel around us, to finally avail what we want made real -- the founding of new vistas and in practical terms, the founding of new cities and arts and good sciences and new-caliber people, bringing to the world something new, providing the world with new ways to look at things, and creating with and from these same visions those starts brimming with even more potentials to conjure, and from which again to create again. Such is the essence of the Fabric; this is how a brilliant, magnanimous Future does come into being.

Beliefs divide people, especially religious beliefs [including the so-called non-beliefs or belief that there is no god, which is another belief, isn't it?]. I'm afraid that this is so very obvious, that we, with our complicated brains, cannot see this simple fact.
Given this fact, were we genuinely concerned about life and the global and local mess we are in, we would begin by facing the fact that we don't really have a clue, that we are just repeating what we have been told, mostly taken from Bronze Age books which are clearly based on fear and superstition.
Our brains work just like computers whose memory has been filled with certain data. It repeats what it has been filled with in the form of thoughts, feelings and pictures. Out of that comes most if not all of our urges and actions. We would see that everything we think we know came out of a book or was programmed into us by our parents, priests and our own loneliness, ignorance and fear.
Then perhaps we could begin looking at ourselves without all the preconceived ideas and we would naturally begin to learn how we created this mess. We would easily see how each one of us adds confusion and conflict and violence to the world by believing in things that are untrue. We would see that beliefs do not unite people but instead divide one person from another. We would easily see how one group of believers is against other groups of believers.
And then perhaps our mind will be free to look at ourselves and learn directly, through direct observation, what we as individuals and as a species have become.
It takes a certain amount of humility and inward freedom to do this.

Friend,
You can not gift '' awakening from slumber.'' to any , as one has to awaken oneself and no body can gift it.It is purely personal effort. You may may create congenial atmosphere.
My gift would be to try and and fight within me to conquer against the anger, hatred and prejudice like things permanently.
If I succeed in that It is a great gift I think.

I bring in earthed examples of the Greater Reality. These images and written words, which I gather from the invisible and manifest for all who wish to know and see, are lit in purity, to give life by example to those that seek and those that already know, that there is an infinitely more spacious awareness available for us to love and accept and ultimately bring that pure energy into our being so that we may transcend the drudgery and old paradigm ties of duality. Peace, friend.

Muslims - brought about due to the complacency of the Roman people to permitting the spiritual teachings of TheWay to be slaughtered along with the Ebionite disciples of Yeshua, Muslims offer resolve not to permit one's religious convictions to be dictated by secular governments. Their weakness is in that they are complacent to allowing their religious leaders to dictate to their governments or even be their government and that they do not actively oppose the barbaric corruptions men have added to the Koran. So their weakness and strength is their resolve against secularism.
Christians - ignoring the Crusades and other periods of bloodshed, Christians for the most part live to help others which gives them some grace. Unfortunately, modern Christianity was borne from Roman desire to unify the faiths of its people and place an intercessor between God and man that the Government or Church could use to control the people. Their complacency to this external control over their lives has clouded their discernment about the importance of showing your faith by good works, and seeking the inner meaning of scriptures.
Buddhists - Buddhism was borne out of the recognition of the destructiveness of believing in external gods under Hinduism. Its strength is in taking God out of the equation until Man knows himself. People that imagine that they can know God before they truly know their True Self who is created in the image of God are deluded and know nothing more than Astral spirits.
Hindus - there is colorful imagery in their scriptures and they can be more pure in their living and eating. Eating of death is not conducive to life. Unfortunately most Hindus get lost in the many symbols of their gods and negate the need to bring the Light into full engagement with the flesh at all levels of being. Ultimately one must become the Light and not merely waste our time here gazing upon an image of the Light imbued in the flesh. The flesh must be raised up and become a living vessel and manifestation of the Source Light.
Jews - in scripture represent those that have received the law and desire to know the One God but are carnal/pagan and look upon what is given to them in a literal and historical context rather than turning the Key to the Kingdom within themselves to become Spiritual Isreal. The resurrection of Yeshua within requires the death of Judas within.
Atheists - their strength is in holding fast to rationality that prevents them from getting sucked into the errors of man's religious philosophies. Their weakness is in look at life in a shallow manner filtering out substantial aspects that are beyond their paradigm of thought. Just because the 'religious' have it wrong doesn't mean the Atheists have it any more right.
New Age - strength is their open mindedness but their weakness is in their lack of discernment and self discipline.
DisciplesofTheWay - Strength is in overcoming the divisions within self, personally tapping into the Source of True Knowledge as done by all the prophets and the key people behind many of the above paths, each who were in TheWay to the extent they were capable. The Disciple strives to attain the next stage of birth while in the flesh, bringing together heaven and earth, as Yeshua achieved and exemplified. The weakness is that they are as a disease to this world because they no longer feed the world with their own vital life force. While the ultimate fate of any genuine Disciple is to become a balanced world unto themselves, too many in the physical world at one time would upset the balance and purpose of this world and the dissonance required within it, which is why the Laws of this world ensure the physical destruction of their communities after a time. They are a necessary Light to others, they have guided mankind at critical turning points and TheWay is ultimately The Only Way through the narrow gate of salvation but by Law few their be that find it at any one time and walk its path. The many will always walk the broad path to their temporal destruction.

I don't think I gave any gift to the world.
But now I promise you that I will try to love all unselfishly and spread the message of unselfishness and fearlessness to the world.
