when it wasn't in fact your birthday? So, why all the clatter from Christians about saying "Happy Holidays" instead of "Merry Christmas" or "Happy Birthday Jesus". I mean, not even educated Christians disagree that Christmas was not the time of Jesus' birth - not even close.

It isn't close to Jesus Birthday at Christmas. But we did decided to set this date to Celebrate it as His Birthday so we need to keep it that way.Haven't you ever got a gift or card before or after your Birthday?Even if Christmas isn't His Birthday doesn't change the fact and we need to worship our Lord and Savior.

I'm not Christian but it IS still ok to say Merry Christmas, you know why? Because Christmas is still a federal holiday. Just like Happy Valentines day or Happy 4th of July etc...

It has nothing to do with birthdays. The extremely small percentage of Americans in opposition to Merry Christmas want to see God taken out of everything in public. It is just a similar level to Nazism or Stalin ism.

you are flunking your own IQ test...I would be offended if someone made celebrating my birthday illegal..and no one was allowed to speak to me, or say my name.

the only reason we have this holiday is because of Jesus...the actual day is irrelevant....since no one originally recorded the real day....tradition just set it up to be Dec 25...only the most studies have pointed to a different day, since we can calculate back in time with computers.

No, but I only celebrate Christmas based on tradition. If other people see Christmas differently, they're entitled to their opinion.

However, today actually IS my birthday, so everyone needs to wish me a happy one, lol.

You know, until O'Reilly got all their panties in a bunch about it, I said Merry Christmas all the time. Now that I figure that it pisses them off, I can't do it anymore.

Are you really bored or is this a grade school project?
Your final sentence shows a decided lack of education. If you are trying to be erudite and condescending you have failed miserably.
