Everything that exists has limits and boundaries, but there must be something that is limitless to set those limits, otherwise, everything would be limitless...

No hostility here I'm your well wisher

I also wanted to know, what you thought about this:
when most people are under conditions that have too much pressure and stress for the brain to coop with, they turn to something thats above them for help, In my view its a natural response to say or think "oh, my god..." when you have near-to-death experiences.

Is atheism a recent belief? have people in the times of the incas and farther back, in the dark ages, believed in no god? If so, then how is it possible that so many people were deluded into thinking that no god exists? I think that we needed to depend on something that was uncontrolable, we needed to believe something, and so therefore every person had some spiritual feelings that called them to think about a supernatural creator..just my insight, please share yours thank you

When Christians name a scripture title atheists come right back with a wisecrack explanation as to why that piece of scripture is wrong. Or do they just know all the bible verses already? I'm just wondering.

Really? The only reason you don't kill people is the Bible says not to? Otherwise you would not know any better?

Creationists say we are too complicated to exist without having been created. Isn't God even more complex than a human? He must have had a creator, too! Surely something as great and complex as God couldn't just have happened!

to my (slight) surprise a roman catholic regular here defended their church' prohibition of condoms in central and southern africa (which has greatly helped the spread of aids there)

i am surprised to find any christian church promoting aids as a useful ally in the drive for recruitment.

but if any christian church were going to do so, i suppose it would have been the catholics.

Hear me out, this isn't as barmy as it sounds - nor is it asked to annoy or offend anyone.
Under the Serious Organised Crime and Police Act 2005 (in the UK), the definition of terrorism has been expanded to include anyone who "damages property for religious, political or idealistic reasons".
If he was alive today, would that make his overturning of the moneylenders' stalls an act of terrorism? Remember he was peeved because of the insult they caused to his Father's house...

IF we can see the logic of a terrorism charge for the beardy sandal-wearing one, then what about the clause that forbids the "glorification of terrorism" in British law? Does that mean that if the law were to make any sense at all, sales of the New Testament should be outlawed by the State?

Thanks to Mark Thomas for pointing that one out...

Well with all the AM labels now on here, I would say that atheism is pretty organized.

And atheism does have a creed. Do you lack belief in a god?
"Yes".
There is your creed. Sounds organized to me.

Who ever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
So what name do we call on when we baptize.
Do people get offended when you don't say thier name< Yes>
If God's name is holy and above every other name his son's
also. Why when you baptize you don't say his name.
Go around and never say any one's name for a day see if
they Get angry.
So you are telling God you have more respect for men and women then God when you don't call on his name.
ANswer my Question without justifying your own believe
I know it is hard to do because you'll been doing it for
centuries.
