I am an agnostic, and as such I believe there is a divine spirit through out the universe. I believe that this spirit everywhere at all times controlling the universe with the laws of nature and manipulating its creations with life. I believe that all living things are just part of this spirit and that we are all the same souls trying to find our ways back to our divine past, Nirvana. We are all reincarnated over and over again and will continue to be until we can find the divine spirit and join it once again. Does anyone think in the same way I do, generally of coarse, I'm not completely sure about my own beliefs yet!

Do you believe there is a concrete, universal definition for "evil"?

If someone recognizes a certain way of life as being evil, what would compel them to follow that path?

For example, let's say I offered to perform a surgery that would save your life, but
~on one hand you might not wake up for hundreds of years afterward,
~or on the other hand, you could be walk out the hospital door that same day,
~and either you will keep all your memories,
~or alternatively, you may not even know who you or your family members are.

Don't you think that somehow the range of variations indicates that I do not know what I'm doing?

Why accept something described in such mutually exclusive ways exists at all?

I love history, but Adolf, above any, has fascinated me from the time I was young. Although his actions where deplorable, you have to admire his wit. Never in history has a man that rose from nothing, grow to the pinnacle of power in Europe. His preeminence was undoubted, he held sovereign over mens souls. There has never been or ever will be a man whos name, just a mere whisper of it, will provoke such wrath, such ire.

God Bless

please, if you are not familiar with the concept of determinate universe, don't bother responding.

to those who are familiar with the philosophical reality of a determinate universe, the idea (and truth) that all that exists around us is a result of an event that occurred previously, what kind of jusgment for or against any human be valid?

how can anyone rightly judge a suicide as an ultimate sin when the world around them drove such emotional distress, such mental imbalance that their mind, their only tool for processing their environment, tells them that death is easier than life?

please be careful before you answer with "because they have not found the light of god" because countless devout theists have committed crimes as well as sucide with complete reassurance that god has no qualms about it.

Hi. I was just wondering if anybody knew any information on sacred numbers? Like I've heard somewhere that the number three is sacred, but what makes it sacred? Is there any other sacred numbers?

For some reason, it seems as though if alot of folks do not understand this. If I am born again, washed in the blood of Christ, and filled with his spirit, it is very important that I treat others the way I would want to be treated. People already make excuses as to why they do not serve God so, why would I want to be another excuse for them? I've seen people sit around and mock others, and when that person leaves the church and gives up on God, They blame that individual. Which is somewhat true, but I don't want my excuse to be "They are making excuses". For evey finger you point, there is always one pointing right back at you. I'm not condemning the church. And I understand that not "all" churches are like this. But as a Christian, I want to see others make it. I do not want to become a road block for someone. I always hated it when I brought someone to Church with me and they got offended by an individual in the church.

De Jesus, 61, grew up poor in Puerto Rico.

De Jesus says he learned he was Jesus reincarnate when he was visited in a dream by angels.

"The prophets, they spoke about me. It took me time to learn that, but I am what they were expecting, what they have been expecting for 2,000 years," de Jesus says.

How does sin affect the way we read God's Word?
What do we need to do to make sure that we are reading God's Word as He would want us to?
What has God given us to help us do this?
If we are unsure as to what someone has said about a certain passage in the Bible, what can we do to make sure what was said is true?

I do not get this at ALL!!!

What happened to Jim Jones? What made him see the Christian Faith the way he did and create Jonestown and kill so many people? That is not Christianity or any Religion I know if, it sounds more of a Cult. But it was a Christian group just an extreme group.

My question is what attracted people to such a psycho and believe he was a prophet?

thanks. No offense, I am educating myself. You Christians must have been shocked at what he did in the name of your faith.

much of the old testement is filled with vile images, and outlandish thoughts, from severe penalties for relatively minor offenses, to acceptance of slavery, subjegation of women, even Jesus says something to the effect of - hate your father, mother, love me.... i know i am mis-quoting but is something like that. people pick out the scripture they promote, like the abomination that the bible says gays are. who gets to say what is true, and what is allegorical?

Why is it not okay to change others to meet modern needs?
(Maybe allowing women priests, accepting gays into the fold, and relaxing the rules on celibacy to attract more men to the priesthood?)

I asked 2 questions and got a bunch of Witnesses answering me by being rude and insulting. I was not rude or insulting, just honestly answering a question. Do witnesses have a Christian attitude toward everyone or just themselves? God said to love people as you love yourself. Watch them be rude AGAIN here!
