Intelligent Design will never be proven, nor will evolution. This is because neither falls within the boundary of science. This is because they can not be reenacted, can not be seen in todays world, and the like. The scientific model requires five features to be meet, and neither is possible of accomplishing those. This means that believing one over the other is based on faith in something greater. In this, either way, you are following a religion.

It's a false dichotomy. The theory of evolution is a scientific proposition based on evidence. "Intelligent Design" is a purely philosophical - and in practice a theological - proposition; which starts with a pre-decided conclusion and contrives an argument to 'prove' it. Only the latter relies on 'belief' in any meaningful sense, because one must assume as valid premises for which there is no evidence one way or the other.

Assuming that intelligent design simply says that there is a higher power that is responsible for evolution, I would say yes.

Evolution.
I simply see no point in believing in that which I have no proof of. My faith will follow me through death; I don't wish to be wrong. Hence, I do what I can to find the truth, whatever it may be.
And thus far, it has led me entirely and completely to evolution. That is the theory I've accepted, and I doubt I'll change my mind.
