Um, i think he's as crazy as Jim Jones or David Koresh, or any of these other freaks that claimed that they were God.
Neither the Bible, nor Jesus, teach the doctrine of reincarnation, therefore his statement is in conflict with BOTH of the aforementioned; thusly conflicting with the doctrines of Christianity.
Also, to note; that scripturally (the Bible) when Jesus "comes back" he is NOT going to be walking the earth (again) and talking to people; but as 'lightening in the sky' etc ad nauseum in accordance with the Bible. Therefore, this man cannot be Him. Matthew 24 would also seem to negate that possibility. Whereas it speaks on "False Christs" and "False Prophets"... even some, a lot more convincing a Saviour than Jose Luis de Jesus Miranda.
I don't know why people from all over the world can condemn Jesus Christ and say he is not God, but then want to be him. It doesn't make any sense. When Jesus comes back, the world will know it. There will be no mistake. Up until that point, every last one of these that claims divinity (and to be the Son of God/ "Messiah"/ "Christ") is nuts.
As for the 'prophets' he's refering to, ERM... they spoke about Jesus of Nazareth that lived 2000 years ago; not about this man. And as far as his (Jose Luis') claim to be the Messiah, (i.e., Jesus Christ) um, i think there is medication that could handle that problem.

*edit* by the way, the number '666' that everyone's so paranoid about is the 'number of man'. (it is considered in association with mankind, and with satan and 'the mark of the beast' as described in the book of Revelation. The numbers 888 or 777 would be more suitable for a 'heavenly being'... in accordance to the meanings of numbers and such as given by the Bible...... i mean gosh, if you're going to tell people that you're God, at least do your homework. *rolls eyes*...... *sighs*.
*edit* i read the article. Yup, he's nuts. Just as i thought.

Peter tells us in clear language that the heavens (space, planets, stars...) and earth will be destroyed at Jesus' return. 2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow to keep his promise. He is not slow in the way some people understand it. He is patient with you. He doesn’t want anyone to be destroyed. Instead, he wants all people to turn away from their sins. 10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar. Fire will destroy everything in them. God will judge the earth and everything in it. 11 So everything will be destroyed. And what kind of people should you be? You should lead holy and godly lives. EVERYONE will know it when Jesus returns. There will be no doubting or confusion about who is "in charge" or who Jesus really is. John's figurative language in Revelation most likely is NOT about Jesus' return... 1. Jesus taught that his kingdom was not earth based. John 18:36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not part of this world. If it were, those who serve me would fight. They would try to keep the Jews from arresting me. My kingdom is from another place.” 2. Jesus taught that his kingdom would come in those people's lifetimes. Luke 9:27 “What I’m about to tell you is true. Some who are standing here will not die before they see God’s kingdom.” ... the kingdom is here RIGHT NOW! 3. Revelation identifies the events it describes as happening "quickly." (Beginning and end: 1:1 & 22:6) This same Greek phrase is used in Acts 12:7 Suddenly an angel of the Lord appeared. A light shone in the prison cell. The angel struck Peter on his side. Peter woke up. “Quick!” the angel said. “Get up!” The chains fell off Peter’s wrists... It indicates a very rapid fulfillment, NOT something hundreds of years away. 4. Revelation uses figurative language to describe spiritual realm events. Our interpretation of the statements must not conflict with "clear language" passages elsewhere. Peter and Paul both write about Jesus' return. Our understanding must properly consider ALL of the statements IN THEIR CONTEXTS. ... Jesus IS REIGNING RIGHT NOW. THAT is the fulfillment of the 1000 years in John's prophecy. Just like the Jews who opposed Jesus, many Christians are stuck on an earthly view of the kingdom which misses its true significance. Paul wrote in 1Thes 4:17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them. We will be taken up in the clouds. We will meet the Lord in the air. And we will be with him forever... The passages from Peter and Paul do not indicate that Jesus will come TO EARTH, but that we will SEE him and GO with him. Peter tells us that earth will be destroyed. NO ONE will live here any more. Clearly these passages are in conflict with the pop-theology "rapture" which is so commonly taught today. It is improper to interpret scripture in a way that it conflicts with itself.
