as I see it the only answer I ever get to a tough question from a christian is "You just need to have faith"

Faith is no substitute for hard cold facts and evidence
So far I have been asking my easiest question and not one believer has been able to back their beliefs up with hard cold evidence so this series is over

if you cant answer the 3 easiest questions then there is no way that the other 1997 questions can be answered as they get harder as they go along.

Well it was nice while it lasted

"How is faith blind admissible evidence"?

Has America become exactly like the England it was fleeing???

I say this because looking at America...religion is everywhere...on our televisions, on our currency, in our national pledge, on our doorsteps....wasn't this what we were fleeing when we left England????

It's my understanding that we left England because (and this is just one reason of many) they had a singular religious belief system which was adopted on the government level, endorsed by the government and announced as the national religion.

Aren't we close enough to doing all that here in the US already???

Kinda ironic, eh???

Do Christians actual heal people, speak in tongues and resist venomous snakes? What do these two verses mean? Should they be inpereted literally?

Mark 16:17-18:
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues

18They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

Why does he still have a perverted heart? Is it because God is really a psychological delusion?

Will he ever really grow up?

My how convenient "God" does become... And my, look at that pride he's been fighting.

This year, he'll start thinking the right thoughts.
Next year, around June, he'll experience something new.
Next August, he will start asking the right questions.
Next October, he'll actually look objectively for the answers...

Next December, just in time for Christmas, he'll say, in his heart, "I am agnostic"

After he finishes his education he will say,
"I am an atheist.."

He will grow strong and confident and will be invited to speak on a platform with Richard Dawkins.

All this is declared to happen within the next six years.

Polar bears and walruses are going extinct before our very eyes and yet people just go to the mall, consume like pigs and coudn't care less because Jesus has it all figured out.
I'm glad I never had kids. And I'm glad the religious douchebags that did will die knowing their kids are going to suffer in hell on earth.

If God has already passed judgment on you? I guess what I am asking is how do you know if God has already cut you off spiritually? I know that the bible does say 'that he will never leave us or forsake us." But there is also a point that we can habitually sin and be disconnected from his presence...how do we know if that has happened to us...only serious replys please!!

Jesus had to suffer a few hours on a cross,
Judas got a bad name for the rest of history.

Jorge Luis Borges says Judas was the real man who suffered for our sins. Opinions?

I had such a vivid dream, even down to details of pain and blood, of swearing an oath to one of the Gods, who later spoke to me in the dream.
Is there any way to tell if this was "just" a dream? How binding would an oath like this be?

Hello to all my fellow Pastafarians. After years of turmoil and doubt, I have discovered the truth: The FSM.

His existance is undeniable- he's around, but no one can see him because he's invisible! Finally a religion based on sound reasoning.

How do I become a member of the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Are there formal rites, or do I need to find a noodley preacher? Does this involve spaghetti sauce, because if it does I probably shouldn't wear white to the ceremony. Or do I simply begin following His "Eight 'I'd Really Rather You Didn'ts' "?

I hope it doesn't involve purchasing a pirate boat, at least not now, for I am too low on money for that.

May you be stained by his holy spaghetti sauce. RAmen.
