I am an agnostic, and as such I believe there is a divine spirit through out the universe. I believe that this spirit everywhere at all times controlling the universe with the laws of nature and manipulating its creations with life. I believe that all living things are just part of this spirit and that we are all the same souls trying to find our ways back to our divine past, Nirvana. We are all reincarnated over and over again and will continue to be until we can find the divine spirit and join it once again. Does anyone think in the same way I do, generally of coarse, I'm not completely sure about my own beliefs yet!

I don't, but I'm sure there are people that do feel similar. But exactly the same? I doubt it.

I feel that every detail of life, regardless of how tiny; how minute it may be, affects the greatest details of individual exists. I believe that the tiniest details impact the small details, which in turn affect the medium details, going on to affect large details, hence altering, in some cases greatly, the major building blocks of our lives.

Therefore, I think that only your exact circumstances of life can bring you to this conclusion. In order for someone to feel exactly the same, they would need the exact same experiences, same thoughts, same thought processes, and all in all, they would have to be you.

Only you really KNOW what you believe. Especially in cases of religion, when belief is so difficult to put into words that make sense to others.

So, there may not be anyone that feels exactly as you do, but there's most likely people that at least have similar notions.

:]

Season's Greetings Tony,
I completely understand (based on your statement) where you are. I encourage you to further investigate what your heart and intellect is prompting. I can attest that this divine spirit you speak is more interested in you than you may know. As a Christian, I have discovered that when you claim to be a "seeker of truth," the world rallies around you and supports your search. But the moment you find it, the world begins its attack. I am not telling you, by any stretch, to start believing as I do. But I am encouraging to read the Four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John as a starting point. Also, have a look at str.org and read the articles. After that, you may see things more clearly, acknowledging that this divine spirit has a personality, a demeanor, a justice, and a compassion that is unparalleled. One of our grandest mistakes is to embrace a "default position" because we haven't done the research. I've been there. As well, be careful from whom you seek counsel. There are false teachings waiting to devour you; Know also the social culture, by and large, is in opposition to finding what it is that is so readily in your grasp.

Well, for starters your beleifs do not sound like that of a typical agnostic. Not that I am trying to dispute what you are saying, I am sure you are more aware of your belief system than I am, but typicaly agnostics simply believe that the existence of a deity cannot be proven or disproven. Most agnostics, however, doubt this existence. Your beliefs, on the other hand, sound more like they have a basis in Buddhism. Perhaps you should explore that particular faith further. It may suite your values better.

Indeed seems the only thing you left out (and I am not entirely sure of that) is the Spirit you speak of is a person. And it seems that you feel that Spirit is an unknown god. Acts 17: start with verse 22.

You can know that Spirit if you don't already and want to

Looks like you have combined some buddhist thought with deism.

Definitely, you have grasped a good deal of the New Age religions of America.

St. Shirley MacLaine, possibly?

Yeah, that's pretty much how I see it, generally speaking. I believe we are that divine spirit, collectively.

No way.
There is no great spirit in the sky no matter how much you WANT that to be true.
Vivid imagination and nothing else.
I realise that grim reality is harsh but you have to be of a certain strength of character to cope with it.

Yes...and many others. I also believe that Karma is not punishment, but lessons we need to know in order to raise to higher levels. Each time we learn a lesson, be it by experience or observation, we get another step closer.
