Maybe they are new to the faith and not too secure in it yet.
Maybe they are jerks who think they have a monopoly on Gods love.
Some folks get real upset if you take away their security blanket. Makes them nervous, you know?
Don't take it personal because they probably wouldn't do that face to face. The internet gives them a false sense of security.
If they get rude with me I just ask them how many times the watchtower has made bogus predictions that did NOT come true. That is like hitting below the belt but sometimes they need to be shocked so they will wake up and listen to God.
I know this much to be true. It was told to me by a man who left the faith. There are books in the library that expose some undesirable things about their faith and the watchtower org. They go to the library and look them up and then go put them way off in some weird place so you and I can't find them and read about it.
That seems dishonest to me. Any faith worth its salt should be able to stand up to scrutiny.

I'm very surprized to hear that and sorry you felt that experience. One thing about the internet we need to remember is that many people claim to be what they are not. Some could have been posing as JW to your answer to try to get a rise out of people like so many do here. I've known all people of JW faith to answer in a way that helps instruct and inform. I did not see that question, by the way.

There are about 7,000,000 JWs world wide. How many of them do you feel insulted you? Saying that the words of a few reflect the attitude of an entire global organization is how bigotry and prejudice get started. I have noticed that Unsliced Ham, a regular JW basher, was very happy to lend her negative 2 cents in reply to your question. You made her day.

My aunt lives across the street from a "Church" or whatever they call their gathering place and everytime I go over there and see a meeting taking place I REALLY want to go over there and knock on the door to interupt their service...
I would LOVE for one of them to come to my aunt's house while I'm there because when they start to ask questions like "do you want to learn more about the lord" I would turn around and ask them if they want to learn more about MY lord... Satan.
I'm not really a Satan worshiper but it would be GREAT to ask them...
Christians are an odd lot... They have a ton in common with the current trend of terriorists being of Islimic faith...
The Christians are the terriorists of yesterday so I'm always wondering why they have a problme with others blowing THEM up and cutting THEIR heads off when they did the same damn thing to millions and cuased the willfull destruction of knowledge which has put human kind 300 years behind where we SHOULD be because of their crusaid against knowledge of any kind.
It is stupidity compounding stupidity but they can't see it...
They only see an "Attack" on their belif system...
Which is 'bad' if your christian but just find for them to do to everyone else...
Just remember, it's not nice to be mean to the retarded... and you have to be retarded to belive what the pedophiles have been preaching for the last 2000 years...
If you have ever actually read up on the origional preaching of Jesus and the origional teachings of the Christian faith you will realize exactly how pissed off Jesus would be with what his followers have turned his religion into.

They're probably a little hypersensitive. I rarely see an actually respectful question about JW's on here. Mostly they get insulted or called a cult or told they're not Christians.

It all depends on your questions. If you attacked them they would answer abruptly.
Yes we are to love ...each other. ...Jesus said by this love all will know you are my disciples if you have love among yourselves.
and we are to pray for those persecuting us. But if someone offends us and doesn't ask forgiveness we are under no obligation to forgive.
Only if someone comes and wants an exchange of encouragement from the scriptures are we to spend time teaching them the truths of God's word. And if we happen across them in our ministry.

Although I don't believe in their faith, I have yet to experience insulting remarks from a member. Whether an honest question or not, I would have to wonder what you asked and if your intent was to incite anger by insulting one of their beliefs??

It depends on what kind of question you asked, sometimes people pretend to say innocent things, but the under lying meaning is very clear, that's what make people angry.

Obviously they are always "right" and everyone else is wrong. JW indoctrination is deeper than any cesspool and there's no way out of it for its adherents. They can't handle objections or any little resistance to their delusional beliefs. Just accept that and let it be. Don't even bother entertaining any of them. That would be wasted time better spent on much more important things.
