I've noticed several who can effectively quote from scripture when debating with Christians. Fascinating, and encouraging that you at least are willing to explore where the other side is coming from. If you are an Atheist who studies the Bible, do you have a favorite verse?

Gay marriage for example, how does it effect your lives in any way if they got married? I mean it doesnt have to be done in a church or even sactioned by one to make it official...
Another example, how would a teacher in a school forcing kids you dont even know to pray to your god in any way make your life better?

Is it merely knowing that everone is being forced to be as you?

I dont get it....

Think about it. I was told today that I shouldn't leave the church just because some misinformed people judge me and send me on guilt trips, and act in other unchristian ways toward my family... Okay....are these people not taught the same gospel I am? Are they not members of the same church body as me? Am I not expected to believe the things they believe? They are my teachers, my friends, and in a sense, my family. I am the only member in my real family, so they are the mirror and standard of righteousness I have to judge against.

If they can't get the teachings of the church right, then why am I here? I mean, i suppose I could apply to a new university, move out of my parents and find a new one, but if I happen upon a new ward like my current one, then what? Do i keep moving around trying to find where I belong? Or am I expected to tolerate it the way it is?

Jews show many prophecies about Messiah which reflect their wishful desires but not the Will of God!

The prophecy was given to Israelites as a good hope of future provided they repent to their Lord.Jews did not changed themselves rather Killed 2 prophets of God - John the Baptist (Allija) and Esau (Jesus) the Jewish Messiah!

Don't you think you should repent to your Lord Now!

Because there is no Messiah since last 2500 years!!

While a large number of Israelites - 10 Tribes have already accepted " Will of God" and reality of the time by accepting the Jesus as Messiah and Muhammad as "ANOTHER PROPHET" from your Brethern (Torah) and the Paracletose (Helper/ Advocate...) as per the Jesus last pray to God!

Don't you think your Lord can do Whatever he likes!

Why you insist - "Every thing within Hebrew Tribal Spectrum" ? Racial attitude?

How long you would mislead the world??

I mean nearly all of the fundementalist lobbying is to take a right away from another based on YOUR beliefs not theirs so... is that love in action?

It's a secret society, I have nightmares of them.Statistics tell us theres a slight increase in lefthanders which tells us we're being invaded by creatures from alien universes. Left handed people make me sick, freak me out. If you don't believe they are spawn of the satan, DO the research for yourself. Why do you think there are more of us, then THEM?Theyre strategically placed within families.Once in a while you find more than 1 in a family unit. If predomintly a family of dogooders, you might find 3 or 4 to balance things out.
If right handed like me theres no way to get inside the head of one of these freak of natures.
They can & will read each others minds, speak to each other telepathically. Even beyond the grave. They have built in radar and scanners behind the eyeballs to sense when another one of them is in the vicinity. If youre lefthanded & truly know you arent alien or satan, my apoligies. The rest of us have no way of ever really knowing til science cracks the cod

Many people have claimed that the King James Version of the Bible was edited specifically to suit the needs of the Church of England, and is thus unreliable.

Are there any other versions of the Bible written for specific religious denominations in order to fit their own interpretation of God's Word? If so, which one(s)? Be specific.

So seriously, what about those people that never have or will hear about Jesus? Undocumented tribes in South America and whatnot.

I ask bible thumpers this in debates all the time and I get one of two(or both) cop out answers.

"If you care so much why don't you go witness" (I don't, I'm just wondering what your putty is for this glaring plot hole)

and

"They can look around, see the beauty of nature, and believe in their heart that there is a God, and therefore they're saved" (Right. A god, not "The" God)

Christianity is specific in that you must accept Jesus as your Savior, or you'll burn in hell forever. Their answer for the Pygmies(or whatever) seems completely opposite to what they try and convince people every day.

But what if I believed there was some form of higher power, but didn't outright express a belief in Jesus, his Dad-Self and Spirit-Self, then why can't I go to heaven?

I have had the same phone now for almost 50 years, and suddenly it started beeping at me! I believe it is cursing, so I sturck it down i the name of the lord, and burned it. Then I srinkled holy water over the burial ground. My neighbors called the police because they thought I was trying to burn down the neighborhood. Should I press charges?

To be ‘on time’ in our cities today, one needs to have a certain amount of aggressiveness. I think when Jesus would be on a freeway he’d be too nice and always let merging traffic in front of him while the drivers behind him go insane. And even on public transport, he’d stand at the door of a bus or train and let people go before him. His philosophy might have been great back in the days of donkey carts and wheelbarrows but in today’s modern cities, it’s next to completely useless, don’t you think so?

So many people think that women in Islam are oppressed. Why? Is it because we wear a hijab to keep ourselves modest and away from lustful eyes, unlike the skimpy dancers they show on tv? Is it because of rumors like the one the asker just said? Is it because we wear burkas to be modest and keep our beauty for our husbands only? Is it because a man can have 4 wives in Islam only if they have pity for the woman and is trying to save them from the evils of war, or because they have pity for the widow? Ignorance is contagious.

Not to be blessfomus to all the Christian brothers and sisters out there, just a hypothetical question. I know it is a strong belief that Jesus was the son of GOD, but suppose he just remained a goat herder. How interesting the last 2000 years would have been?

So what do you think? I mean.. they are really yummy and guttonly isn't such a bad sin is it? Will I still get into paradaise? What do you think?
