Don't forget only two sets of teeth, non regenerating limbs, cancers, strokes, poorly designed eyes, poorly designed female pelvis, susceptibility to heart disease, male nipples, tv evangelists, margaret thatcher, aging of the skin, right wing nut-jobs, external testicles, male pattern baldness... nee di go on?

the reason that we have devolped this way is that evolution is blind, as it were. this 'god', however, is either a figment of the imagination (a mental illness in fact!!) or just simply not very good at what 'he' did.

so what's it to be, religious types.

no god, or just a not particularly bright one? hmmm?

That's a good point.

But then (and unless I'm mistaken) they don't have a great deal of functional value from an evolutionary standpoint either, do they? I mean, how would piles serve anybody well in the struggle for survival?

I've even heard (though again, I may be mistaken) that the condition afflicts a great many of those who practice anal intercourse. And if that *is* the case piles can be regarded as a symptom of behaviour which runs contrary to the primary drive of evolution - reproduction and perpetuation of the species.

Either way it isn't always a good idea to criticise a god one doesn't believe in for making the same design errors as an evolutionary process one does believe in.

All piles (I'm not even gonna try to spell the H-Word) prove is that regardless of how we got here - through the will of God or through the blind experimentation of genetics - a mistake has plainly been made.

Bum luck eh?

Geddit?

BUM luck! Ho, ho ho, I know, I'm just far too funny ...

Or specify *that* location for the prostate gland, or dozens of other details...

The conventional Christian answer declares whatever is not "good" in creation is a result of "The Fall"
(Including painful childbirth: Genesis 3:16 God did it, but it was Eve's fault.)

I've not seen how ID proponents work this, as these features would have been at least deliberately allowed, if not actually deliberately engineered in.

God designed humans to be nothing more than living space for tape-worms, so he didn't bother too much about the fine details. We serve our purpose, even if we do have haemmoroids.

Because when Adam fell and people started eating the wrong things which causes constipation and therefore hemmoaroids are a direct result of eating rubbish and not looking after our bodies.

Cannot remember who said that Jesus never told us to wash our hands, but in the Old Testament there is one whole book dedicated to hygiene and cleanliness etc, including the washing of hands and feet!

that's only proof for a designer, I can quite happily believe that 14 billion years of our universe developing has lead to us to the pinnacle of biological process with haemorrhoids.
Yes the designer has an adolescent sense of humour.

i presumed you have been speaking approximately my astounding tail, aka booty! Now that is an evolutionary present, if there ever became one. i'm waiting to work out what creationists ought to assert approximately the different style of tail.

Not the designers fault. He's probably suffering from them on occasion as well.

Are you talking about the same intelligent designer that gave us cancer, acne and toothaches?
