To be ‘on time’ in our cities today, one needs to have a certain amount of aggressiveness. I think when Jesus would be on a freeway he’d be too nice and always let merging traffic in front of him while the drivers behind him go insane. And even on public transport, he’d stand at the door of a bus or train and let people go before him. His philosophy might have been great back in the days of donkey carts and wheelbarrows but in today’s modern cities, it’s next to completely useless, don’t you think so?

Jesus wouldnt let every person merge in front of him because that would slow down traffic for everyone. Assuming hes Perfect, he would do what was best for the greater good (ie keep traffic flowing), while being able to arrive precisely when he means to.

The only time I let people merge in front of me is if im in the process of stopping at a red light because it is better for everyone that way.

Aggressiveness doesnt necessarily mean driving like an a$shole on the road. I think one would need to have a certain amount aggressiveness to obtain enough followers to create a new religion called Christianity as Jesus did. Who says Jesus wasnt aggressive in his days?

nicely, I declare to be a "Christian"; and if Christ have been in the worldwide immediately he does no longer be a Christian as loosely because of the fact the term is used immediately. "Christian" isn't a team interest, it extremely is one soul at a time with a private relationship with Christ. it extremely is like they are asserting, "status in a church would not make you a Christian to any extent further than status in a storage makes you a mechanic. yet, those human beings having a tribal mentality can't envision individual relationships, and team cooperation. in certainty, Christianity isn't a faith, yet a perception that survives no longer because of the fact of religion, yet regardless of it. faith is an man made equipment of regulations and dogma. Christianity is a replace interior each and each heart and soul. Many fake prophets abound, yet few are Christians. do no longer paint anybody with a wide brush in case you do no longer understand something approximately them.

What makes you think Jesus was so passive? He could be aggressive when he needed to be. Just listen to what he said to some of the top religious leaders of that time.

“What sorrow awaits you teachers of religious law and you Pharisees. Hypocrites! For you cross land and sea to make one convert, and then you turn that person into twice the child of hell you yourselves are!"

Jesus is alive today and does live in our modern cities and is NEVER running late. He's the same today as He was yesterday and tomorrow He won't change.

Don't believe the hype; JC wasn't that nice (if he even existed). When he needed a donkey, he stole one; when he got mad at moneylenders, he attacked them. Only the cleaned-up nicey-nice version of JC today would have that issue; the one they wrote about originally wouldn't.

No, the philosophy of being kind to others will never be completely useless. I know it is usless to you, but many people are courteous.
That will never go out of style.

As someone said, His timing is perfect.

Just because you're out for only yourself and are inconsiderate of everyone who's not just like you, don't assume others ought to be like that.

Jesus would ALWAYS be on time, because he would know which streets were jammed, which weren't, and which people would be kind and courteous and allow him passage. Remember, he can read hearts.
