Practicing Catholics and Evangelicals are generally on the same page regarding the application of our Christian faith to public policy. Specifically, we oppose most abortion as a violation of the right to life of the prenatal child, and we want to protect genuine marriage as the foundation of the family.
We express our love for the child by seeking protection from violent death, and our love for the mother by counseling her against destroying her own child.
We express our love for children by encouraging the formation of families with both parents. We express our love for adults by counseling them to restrict sexual activity to marriage so that sex is more intimate, frequent, rich, and mutually satisfying, as God designed it to be.
No Christian opposes any right, meaning an endowment of the Creator that requires honor and protection by government. Judaism and Christianity pioneered the recognition of freedom, equality, and human rights.
There is no right to put a child to death by abortion or to have a marriage with an ineligible mating partner.
Cheers,
Bruce

Actions reveal the intent of the heart, whereas the decieving words that come from the tongue is "set on fire by hell" according to scripture.
The motive for those standing up for their rights should not be questioned from this perspective, regardless if they are Christians or not. It is survival for the word of God which I would gladly die for if need be.
The point is that any faith or religion (including Satanism) can be preached openly unless it is the faith of the Holy Bible in God...

Love is not love without action....as a word on its own it means nothing...eg a husband saying "i love you" means absolute crap if at times he beats the living daylights out of his wife...same applies to fundies as with all christians

And yet I see so many comments from Atheists claiming that they are such nice people, yet they seem to take every opportunity given to mock anothers beliefs.
Kind of like your question does.
I see a great deal of hypocrisy in your question when I look at the reactionist attitude of Atheists and Evilutionists on this board. So, if you want to make a point about actions - LEAD BY EXAMPLE!

Yes Love is better shown in actions....
I show love both in words and actions.
I strongly believe in Freedom of Choice... and base my actions and words on that...
My freedom to show you this...

Others beleifs do not seem important to their agenda my freind, although if it does fit their agenda, they do tend to back them up.
Besides,is the God of the Bible really a god of love? Yes it preaches it,but come on,read the thing,if thats love,I'll take no part in it.(I'm refering to the destroy the world for the sin HE himself created LMAO silly God and his silly antics)

You know, I'm going to have to agree with you on that one . . . even though I, myself, disagree with other 'fundamentalists' lobbying tactics and do not contribute to them.

they would tell you it's easier said than done, and that they're only humans, and all the lame excuses they could think of.
