Early in the week I purchased a box of mangoes (20 of hugest juciest fresh mangoes anyone ever did see for $17.00). But the kids ate 'em and I only ate 15 of them... so I bought another box full today and I've hidden them in my office behind the photocopier.

So what do you think? I mean.. they are really yummy and guttonly isn't such a bad sin is it? Will I still get into paradaise? What do you think?

Mangoes are good stuff and since the seed in the middle is sooo big you really dont get that much fruit in each mango so I dont blame you for wanting to hide your mangoes, esp if people around you have proven that they want to eat them all up.

Costco has dried mangoes that are really yummy. You should think about getting those when mangoes are out of season.

Well seeing as gluttony is labeled as one of the deadly sins i would say there is your answer. Anorexia is a disorder, and not comparable to gluttony at all, it would be more of a control thing than a sin thing. I don't personally believe in sin, but hey whatever you believe right?

OK anytime that you partake of something to much rather it be mangoes or anything else then you have sinned so says the Bible. God Bless You and Good luck with those mangoes!

I suggest you find the passage in the Bible that states "gluttony is a sin." A pope of long ago made a list of "seven deadly sins" but strangely there is no such list in the Bible and individually gluttony is not in there, so I wouldn't worry about that so much as your health.

Can't you read?! There is a scriptural clause in the Bible leaving Mangoes exempt from the gluttony admoniton!

So does Choccolate!

GARSH!

It's a sin NOT to be a glutton when it comes to mangoes. To not devour every sweet morsel of them before summer is over would be a wasteful sin...

If gluttony is a sin there had better be a whole lot of people in confession on the 26th.
