Thankfully the scientific community has recently came out with the CE, or Current Era, and BCE Before Current Era to get rid of the BC/AD bunkum...

This Era also means Age, time is not calculated by the birth of some mythological figure, it's calculated by the SUN and the earths rotation, and the constellations that it's under. I think Christians believe that time is based upon Christ because Jesus/Horus is nothing more than a story about the SUN, and the zodiac. So tell me Christians why do you think you've based upon Christ.

When Abu 'hook-hand' Hamza finishes his 7 year stretch in HMP Belmarsh, he is going to be extradited to the USA to face further charges there.

In the UK, is he allowed to keep his hook while in prison, considering it can be used as a weapon? I'm certain this will not be the case when he faces his 250 years sentence there.

What's your opinion on if he will be allowed to keep his hook? How many years is he likely to face in the USA?

selling dvds, cds, books, etc.... I know we need to give to poor churches so they can keep the lights on...etc...I heard 1 preacher had a toilet that was over a 100,000 dollars. now that is wrong. If I want to give I'll give. But I hate it when it seems like they are forceful. When the preacher makes a good point then here comes the baskets... I remember when Jesus came into temple and they had made it a market place and He was upset.. I just wonder if they are going overboard with this money thing?

And why?

Recently, my the cat that we gave to my sister-in-law was killed. My husband loved this cat very much and he is very upset- she was a very nice kitty.

Atheists, I know majority of you do not believe in souls so we just decompose in the ground, but I'm wondering what others believe regarding to animals. Thanks!

Why did God need to test the nature of man and more specificly his mental disipline to subject to his lead? he just created mankind right? Is it possible for us to do anything but reflect our creator?

"You are a liar. Because you are a Satanist, it is _completely impossible_ that you have only had one sexual partner in your lifetime. Only Christians truly understand the point and purpose of monogamy and saving one's body for their spouse."

Why do people believe the words in the Bible, Qu`ran and the Torah when they were written by men who said they were the words of god? And if you believe those books do you also believe people like david Koresh who said he was sent from heaven by god? And if you don`t why not surely its the same sort of thing?

Where change never happens?
What if people want different styles after a while?

One positive thing about being alive on Earth is that people can make changes, make different types of things. What if God wants everything in Heaven to stay the same whether they like it or not? What if they want a different-looking mansion after so many years?

If change can't happen there, then that's a scary thought.

loyalty be to not want to serve their natural "God Created" desires? Did he not tell Adam the name of the trees himself? One was "Knowledge" and the other was "Life" right? Aren't these both natural desires for us even 6000 or so years later?

I understand that what is said to be in play was man’s subjection to God but, was that ever really in question? Who made who? It’s clear that man, as a creation, would be less than and not equal to his maker right? So, why test humans?

Hebrew 6:4 - 6

4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,

5 And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

by our own effort we can not attain salvation but through Christ, but we can LOSE salvation. even Judas was prphesiced as being called a friend of Jesus before the betrayal in Mark 14:10.

what's your thoughts on this
