"You are a liar. Because you are a Satanist, it is _completely impossible_ that you have only had one sexual partner in your lifetime. Only Christians truly understand the point and purpose of monogamy and saving one's body for their spouse."

Steve Amato -- I would, but its one of those situations where the person writes, and then disables their e-mail. I was hoping maybe they would respond. But they didn't.

Sounds to me like it came from a self righteous holier than thou judgmental Christian who is a hypocrite. It sounds to me like he or she has not lived up top the standards of their own religion and have to discredit someone else.

if this statement was being said to you then you are being insulted on a number of levels:
1. 'you are a liar' (obvious insult) saying you do not speak truth.
2. 'you are a satanist' - implying that you are not of God.
3. '...impossible...one sexual partner...' - implies that you do not or will not have any moral fiber of your own unless you choose the Christian perspective.
4. 'Only Christians truly understand the point and purpose...' - says that no matter what other religious perspective you might follow, that only the Christian choice would provide you with understanding why people choose just one sexual or life partner.
While these may be perspectives shared by Christians, the way they are said in the paragraph here, is an insult between one person and another. It is said in a way to make the person feel intimidated and put down so that they will make the choice of the speaker.
Sad really. There are many reasons someone might choose monogamy (and many people do not practice monogomy who are not satanist) but there is little real eloquence in how this is shared in this instance.

Someone sure wants to hurt your feelings.
This someone also sounds quite mentally ill. Calling you a Satanist sounds quite schizophrenic, gotta tell ya. That means, it sounds like the mental illness of your correspondent is schizophrenia.
Stop worrying about what they think. They truly are mentally ill. You need to separate from this unhealthy person so that you can get on with your life.

Some ignorant hard core religious zealot trying to equate sexual promiscuity with devil worship.
Monogamy is to maintain a single intimate partner in a relationship, versus polygamy or adultery.

OK Marissa. I am a committed Christian, so I find your beliefs worrying, but I don't see how being a Satanist stops you having only one sexual partner, unless having multiple sexual partners is a tenet of your faith .
The point is, though, that it is part of Christian teaching that one should save oneself for one's life partner, that sex should be kept within marriage as it sets up a spiritual bond with the other partner, and is a model of the believer's relationship with Christ. We are taught that the church is the Bride of Christ, and that, as he loves His church and gave himself for it, so should a husband feel towards his wife. I hope this helps, and, at the risk of offending you, may I say God bless you, and I pray that He finds you and leads you into the Truth.

Your source explains it right there, "...the extreme antipathy of the tormented Jew of Hadrian's time..." You do know what time that was, and who was Hadrian, right? We're talking Romans, here, so unless you have some Roman friends for whom you fear the Jews will be killing, why don't you try getting a little better educated.

A person's response caused by their own prejudices.
All Satanists are stupid and liars.
As if there aren't those that call themselves Christian that aren't.
By the way I'm a Christian Preacher so it goes without saying I don't agree with your life choices.
However I do agree that all people are entitled to decency and basic respect.

BWA-HA-HA-HA!
Oh...sorry for the laugh.
Good grief, who said something like this to you?
It's not impossible for anyone to have only one sexual partner in life, regardless of religion or lack thereof. Not really part of our biological makeup, but not impossible either.
And I'm sorry--I've known too many Christians who screwed around on their partner to take that the least bit seriously.

It seems to me that this person believes that people who worship satan are required by said religion to have more than one sexual partner in their lifetime.
And that people who worship Jesus Christ are also born with an innate ability to understand the concept (and possibly practice of? that was unclear) of monogamy.

Evidentally the person is saying that because the person has had more than one sexual partner, they are therefore breaking some code to not have premarital sex.
