Where is this in the bible?

i finaly told my dad that i like harry potter, and he thinks theres a demon in me and he keeps trying to pray over me, every time i see him he tries, and he complains about me. what can i do? how can i get him to stop?

....in the good old days didn't He let all His mocking, insincere, unfaithful, disobedient, rebellious children live with Him in Heaven???

Then didn't He get tired of their BS - how they were ruining Heaven for everyone else - and He told them to get the Hell out of there?

Is this really what happens? God sends the disobedient to Hell to keep them from spoiling Heaven for everyone else?

The Christian deity allowed his own son to be tortured to death. Christians claim this deity to be loving and kind but the death of Jesus seems to contradict this claim. Christians claim that Jesus died to absolve mankind's sins, but they also claim that God is all powerful and can do anything. So god could easily absolve mankind's sins with a snap of his magic fingers.
The only reason he had this done to Jesus must have been because he wanted to do it. The Old Testament has many stories of God being cruel and vicious for example he wiped out a whole generation of Egyptian firstborn sons, when surely he could have changed Pharaoh's mind without the multiple murders. Don't you think if this deity exists he is cruel and violent and if he would do this to Jesus, Christians would be foolish to expect any mercy from him, especially as they are not even his chosen people?

my 'born again' friend has told me that God has setup my destiny long before i was born, however i still have free will. But what's the point of having free will when the end is already setup for me?

Okay so my mom is totally not a christian! She admitted to watching porn, and having sex with my dad b4 marriage. Well today i told her i really didnt have a relgion, like o believe in God and Jesus but i really dont want to say i'm a christian or w/e or go to church. i mean i aint ashamed i believe in Jesus or God but i want to see the other relgions out there b4 i set at one relgion my whole life. But anyways she preached at me and wouldnt even let me talk to tell her my reasoning! So i decided to do my preaching tonite telling her how sex b4 marriage is a sin and porn is a sin! well she told me to shut up b4 i was grounded from the fone! HOW IS THIS FAIR??? how can i live in this house 2 more years w/ them pushing a relgion on me w/o me having a say in it! Why cant i choose my own religion and y cant i preach at my mom! i mean i was a christian 4 15 yrs! i did listen church!!!! i went to church camp for 8 yrs! I DID LISTEN!! i aint stupid i know what sinning is and isnt!

-i dont think jesus was the son of god
-i do believe jesus was either a prophet or just an important person
-i believe god is out their but i think he is more of an energy or light type thing, so not god in the classic sense
-i think when we die we either become one with the earth or are reincarnated.

i know that i dont need to put a name on what i believe but i was just wondering if what i think fits any religion

i have been a closet muslim for a year now (i converted after studying the Quran and Islamic theology...i'm a theology major), so far it's been easy for me to avoid pork, alchohol and to dress modestly. i conduct my daily prayers in the privacy of my room, and i still go to church with my family, so they have never suspected anything.

a few months ago i met a muslim convert like myself at a muslim students association. his family is jewish and his father has accepted his conversion. we've been getting to know each other and our relationship is developing into something really special.

i've been doing well as a closet muslim but i don't think i can stay in the closet any longer, especially if we choose to get married soon...how do i tell my parents? i've been going to church with them because i care about their feelings, but my heart has been firmly set into islam for the past one year?
any converts of any faith, how did u manage to convince your family? btw i'm 23.
