The focus was there were over 1 million Christians living in Iraq before the war and since they have been forced to leave and slaughtered until they are just about all gone.

Just now.
It is to be expected. Jesus himself said that if you follow him you will be hated.

I didn't see it but here in Michigan we have a large community of people from the M.E. including Christians. In the USA they refer to themselves as Chaldeans (those that are from both Iraq and Syria). There are Christians all over the Middle East who have been victimized right along side of the Muslims. No one stops to think they lived side by side with the Muslims (and Jews) for 2,000 years. So yes along with Muslims the Chaldeans have been hurt too. 1.9 million Iraqis displaced in Iraq and over 2 million outside of Iraq. It is sad for everybody.

With some people misunderstanding that the issue in Iraq is religious, I imagine Christians there get treated like some Muslims get treated here. It sucks for everyone. I am not saying we have it as bad over here as they do there, we have our government here to protect us and that same government took all security away from our Muslim and Christian brothers and sisters over there.

What did it say?

I imagine it would be another example of throwing another match into the flame.

No, I didn't see it. Did they also mention the persecution of the Mandean faith in Baghdad? (Followers of John the Baptist)
