Where change never happens?
What if people want different styles after a while?

One positive thing about being alive on Earth is that people can make changes, make different types of things. What if God wants everything in Heaven to stay the same whether they like it or not? What if they want a different-looking mansion after so many years?

If change can't happen there, then that's a scary thought.

Maybe there is going to be change in heaven. No one knows exactly what it's going to be like. I don't think it's going to be boring at all. I think we are going to look back on our life on earth and say "man, was like on earth boring!!!"
When the Bible says we are going to have mansions in heaven, I don't think it means literal mansions. I think it just means wonderful, incredible beauty and joy that we can't understand down here. I mean, how can anyone put into words the glory of God, his angels, and a place where no one has ever sinned? Maybe mansions is just symbolic of something greater, ya know?

Whoever said there are no changes in Heaven? Yes, I have read about God's character not changing, meaning he is not fickle like us, however there is nothing 'Old ' about His Nature! The angels who have been circling His throne for more 'time than all the clocks in the world could keep track of', still fall down in Awe at the sight of God. Not because the are commanded to do so, but because each time they come around to see Him, they see something New and profoundly Amazing! They can't help themselves. God is Awesome!!! I doubt very seriously, you will be bored with Heaven.

I have never heard specificaly that change doesn't happen there, only that it is beyond our imaginations.
I sometimes get worried when I think about it, but then I realize, that, what I'm thinking about, isn't even CLOSE to what it will really be like.
Everything bad that we can imagine, and things we can't, won't be there, so if no change is bad, there will be change.

It will be more amazing that anything you could ever fathom, times a million.

This is why I'm not worried, all in all.

it is scary to think about something that you can't even begin to imagine though, I definatly understand that thought.

I hope that you find comfort in not knowing, but I don't know how easy that is.

God bless.

When in the heavens, I think that you can travel to see living loved ones at the speed of thought. So if you want a different mansion I reakon that youd just think it up. I also think that there are things to do in heaven. Like becomming part of a greeting commity for your loved ones when they die. Helping souls that are ready to reincarnate, and other stuff. And thinking about what you want to experience next.

Things will not be as static as you might think. There won't be any hair or clothing style issues, though, that is true. Whether you would want to express your own tastes when it comes to your city dwelling -- I don't think so. After all, that dwelling is one Jesus built, Himself, which expresses His Love for you. You think you would want to change that?

On the other hand, I know that we will build our own country dwelling -- once we get to the New Earth -- we will not be city-dwellers only. Your country dwelling will give you the opportunity to express yourself as much as you like. You will have the ability to train live plants and trees to form walls, ceilings, floors, doors, windows, etc., from which you will design and form a country dwelling of whatever size you desire.

You will also design gardens and landscapes around your country dwelling to your taste. I'm sure you will have the opportunity to change these designs as often as you like -- though I think you will find that you will not ever become dissatisfied with the first designs you create. I think you will merely add to those designs with time. Don't forget:

"Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him." (1Cor. 2:9)

Of course, those whom won't be happy there -- won't be there.

Okay, then there is only one other place you can spend eternity and that is hell, and things do change there; the fire gets hotter and hotter and hotter. I think I'll stick with my Mansion in Glory. Besides it is made of pure gold and no one will have one like it because they are all unique in their own way, in that they were built by the Best Carpenter of all times. Jesus Christ.

I'm not of this world. Heaven is where I'm going.
ETERNITY with the greatness of GOD. No one will want anything more. We will all be too busy to think about style!

We all assume that in Heaven, people play the Harp, but what happens if you're stuck near someone who plays the Accordion?

God is unchanging in that He is constant.
Within that unchangingness (because He knows everything), are things that we could not possibly discover in one lifetime.
There are libraries of knowledge, textile factories, moving between worlds with a mere thought...colors we couldn't begin to describe. It is a very desirable place to be and worthy of our attainment.
