In the Bible it seems that God was not shy talking to us humans. He appeared in a bush, on a mountain, as a voice from the sky itself. He talked to hundreds of human beings. Did fantastic works leaving no question he was there and watching.

But for the past 2000 years there has not been so much as a peep from him. so what happen? did he all of a sudden lose his voice. Did his ability to directly rulle over his people somehow fade.

Where is he now?

Or has he just stopped caring?

Or is it just that the stories of his proactive involvement Just a myth?

Remember I question everything!

What if someone did it today?

What if someone claimed to be the second son of God, made miracles and posted photographs and videos on youtube all over the internet as proof and went around to all the chatrooms of the world to spread the joy and love and forgiveness that God had to offer them.

Some people would admire him for being such a nice person, but would they really "follow" him?

Would people still be downloading and reading his ebook 2,000 years after he was resurrected? Would they think that the ebook written by his top 12 friends on facebook was his clear message to humanity?

Sorry about all the technological references, but I wanted it in modern terms. Would people really be willing to believe Jesus if he still was born in the 20th/21st century?

I really think that the "historical factor" has a lot to do with belief .

A friend of mine believes that if you sin and die right afterwards and didn't have time to ask for forgiveness you will go to hell so he doens't think he should give his life to god cause he doens't believe we really have a chance anyway.
I dont believe that and I'm trying to explain to him that that isn't right so i need to know where in the bible it says that if you ask Christ into your life nothing can take that away from you. Not even if you sinned and forget to ask for forgiveness.

He's always portrayed as tan, and his muscles are toned, and his long hippy hair. If Jesus looked like Peewee Herman maybe he wouldn't have the same appeal?

I don't believe in him, he's never been there for me. I used to pray to him to make my life better or help me get through it but so far nothing. I'm a cutter, and a beater of my body. I'm also sort of gothic. My mother just can't get it that I do not and do not want to believe in God. It's my choice she can't respect that? So my question is how can I make her stop? Why is she doing this to me? To me if I start to believe in God again it's going to put more pressure on me to be good and do the right thing. So yeah not a good idea to me. And no I do not believe in the Devil either, so no calling me a devil worshiper.

...heaven

I love and respect each individual unadultered religion and I respect the followers

What I don't understand is how a person can Go to temple on Saturday, mass on Sunday. Practice yoga infront of the Budda on Monday, Worship an Indian diety on Tuesday for luck or love. Get their crystals read on Wednesday. Consult with their interior designer on Thursday. Chant their mantra's on Friday and start over again

I don't see how bits and pieces can comprise a whole

When a fertilized egg develops outside the uterus, it's called an ectopic pregnancy The word ectopic means out of place.

Most ectopic pregnancies occur in the Fallopian tube, but implantation can also occur in the cervix, ovaries, and abdomen.

Ectopic pregnancies may cause massive internal hemorrhaging and death if left untreated.

Treatment for an ectopic pregnancy is the surgical removal of the embryo.

What is the pro-life stance on the treatment for ectopic pregnancies, namely, ending them?

The idea of converting others sickens me. Why do people even do that? Do they need to validate their own faith by making their numbers bigger? It's so obvious that religions like this have plans to take over the world. Then they claim that they are peaceful and want to live without violence or hatred with others. How is that possible when they're so interested in converting others?
