The Christian believes in the trinity
Whilst the non christian believes in god

The Christian has the more sinful life,
(i know not all, but Christians i know, just drink sleep around with girls, and sort of use jesus as a safety net)

The religious non christian doesnt drink, doesnt sleep around, etc

The non christian rots in hell, for living a good, life but not believing in Jesus (but only one god)

and the sinful christian goes to heaven for believing in the trinity,

And if Jesus HAD to come down to save us
why would god make this test of sin.

The real test would be, not if you sin
but if you embrace Jesus

And the religion that promotes jesus is just one of the many religions that promote peace and love etc..

would god really care if we made a simple mistake
sort of like opening the wrong door you know?

Thanks
Care for any answers from anyone

I grew up in a Catholic family and was told what to and what not to believe. But now, i've grown up and learnt alot about science and I can't help but question it. Also, everybody argues about religion when whole concept of religion is just based on faith. They pretty much believe in all the same principals.
Just thought i'd ask and i'll apriciate all opinions, so long as you don't break me down about asking.

I asked my Christian friend this once

"What if someone lived a good life, donated money, wasn't selfish and all in all lived as good and noble life as humans could , would they still got to heaven if they didn't embrace Jesus"

He replied pretty bluntly "no"
I was sort of taken back
I mean I believe in some sort of God, but I find the idea of Jesus being Son of God sort of weird.

does that mean im destined to rot in hell for all eternity?

Would appreciate some opinions and answers

Thanks

I have been a widow for over 20 years and I and my daughter treat ourselves to caravan holidays about 5 times a year and we love it. We go all over the UK in our car. My fellow bible study member said to me, "The only reason you go away so often is because you're lonely".

I've read back and forth about the Calvin/Armenius debate - once saved always saved versus conditional security - and when I view the Scriptures each side uses against the other they both seem valid, but neither can disprove the other either, not really except one thing - I think the entire debate hinges on the depravity of man - is there anything good in man or not - i.e. man is born in sin and cannot redeem himself. I think man is totally depraved but the Arminus camp thinks that is not the case, and that's where I think the argument falls apart. I think this is the most difficult issue in Christianity - and it all depends on how you read certain passages, but there are still passages that are concerning if you are a once saved always saved person, like why would you need to work out your own salvation with fear and trembling if you didn't need to worry about it anymore? or why does it say those that endure to the end will be saved? People of different religions try to humiliate Muslims by humiliating the prophet of Islam in different ways. Did any Muslim ever try to make cartoons of Jesus, Moses or Budha?

They say only God is perfect, and I was thinking that nothing we do will ever change the fact that we are not worthy of an after-life. For those who have imperfections will not step into God's kingdom. Am I wrong? I really don't know. Isn't imperfection a sin?
Believing in God doesn't make us perfect, for Satan believes in God.
Hell, for all I know heaven and hell is the same place. "I swear if I get to heaven and we're all seated, suddenly a big glowing light appears and starts blabbering on and on, I swear I'm going to walk forward and spit on God's face so that I may be banished to what I would call " a good place". Where the sin a.k.a. fun, never stops.

Why did you kill Malcolm X? Was it because he saw the discrepencies in your 'religion' and decided to bail? Why murder such an honorable man? If I joined the Nation of Islam and later left, would you kill me too?

Is it becoming of a Christian to wear a gold curfix necklace? I just dont think that is in line with being meek and humble to own such jewelry especially with representations of Jesus on them. Or what do you think? I hope my question is clear enough.

I am a christian and I am going through a really hard time in my life right now... I've been struggling for a while now actually... just when I thought I found happiness, it was ripped right out of my hands. I am so lost, so lonely, don't know where I'm going in life. I just need some encouragement right now, anything... I would even appreciate some prayers from religious people. thanks

Let me share with you what I will, ok here we go imagining... he is coming in front of me I start saying

"Take me with you.
I don’t want to be here.
When you know I love you so much, why did you take so much time to come?
Now don’t leave me and go.
I would cry and ask him where were you?
"
All these went through my mind, but never asked anything but kept on crying...

Trust me you will all only but will not utter one word in front of him….. Don’t ask me why? as there are no answers for some questions.

1. If you believe in God then why fear death? Dying means going to God sooner and there can be nothing better than that. Why sustain life if you truly believe?

2. Does God care about intelligence? Getting an education once you know the word of God, put your faith in God and follow him means little to God.
