1. If you believe in God then why fear death? Dying means going to God sooner and there can be nothing better than that. Why sustain life if you truly believe?
2. Does God care about intelligence? Getting an education once you know the word of God, put your faith in God and follow him means little to God.

Fear is an intelligent act of life not death and try to be a little more intelligent than to surrender to superstitious comforts based on bovine fecal matter when we have all the knowledge we need to cope with a real world at our disposal.
Death doesn't exist except to the living; the dead don't know .
Drop the religion of false gods and gain the religion of life.

1. I was hospitalized in October, 2003, and at that time expected to be dead within six months. Obviously, God had something else in mind. Fear of death takes on a different meaning when you start directly planning and preparing for it, asking different people to take care of things for your family, etc.
2. We are supposed to be good stewards of what God has given us. Sometimes those gifts are intellectual, but whatever they are, they should be used to build up the kingdom.
Ephesians 4:7 However, he has given each one of us a special gift through the generosity of Christ... 11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ.

Concerning number 1, they are scared of death because deep down inside their hearts they know that God is not real.

When you put all of your trust and faith in Jesus it means alot to God.
It means SO MUCH THAT IF YOU WERE THE ONLY ONE ON EARTH JESUS WOULD OF DIED FOR YOU JUST AS HE DID FOR BILLIONS.
