More people are becoming atheists NOW
Do you realise that the average percentage of atheists in Europe is 75%. This is growing as more children are being born and NOT indoctrinated into religion and, at the same time, the older generation, that make up most of the religious, are dying off. See where it is headed - and all for the better!
If you are in the USA, the same thing is happening but at a MUCH slower rate. Why is the US so backward in this respect?

I think the atheists will become even more atheist and demanding and require all religion be removed from all public areas. And the christians will be come even stronger christians and believe even more people in the world are evil sinners going to hell. Then one day the world will be completely divided and war will break out. But the atheists will probably win because they have all the scientists with the crazy weapons. I don't think god would be willing to kill off a bunch of crazies just to prove he exists.

I think more people will become agnostics. They just don't care. Atheists are too over the top for most people. They don't want to come out and say "there is no God". They would rather say, I am not sure if there is one and it doesn't matter to me right now.

As long as society does not perpetuate religious and cultural indoctrination. However, it does. I think religious belief, has been making a strong comeback. It seems progress is not synonymous with time, with countries like America taking a large backwards step in this respect.

that depends on many factors.
If standard of living will continue to improve all over the world, and people will receive better education, there will be more and more atheists.
On the other hand, if natural catastrophes destroy the global economy, or Muslims zealots will overrun the modern world, and education of children will regress, this will result in a negative impact on religious tendencies, people will tend to become orthodox.

You don't 'become' atheist. You're born atheist. You can become theist, if you so choose.
