Every time I pray I muster as much concentration as I possibly can.I empty my mind of all mundane ,wordly interference. This often requires a few minutes.Once that is accomplished, I can concentrate on the topic of my prayer which is often merely to require human understanding and peace and brotherhood and prosperty for all.If per chance I slip and start to consider selfish thoughts then my concentration is broken.
Only when I am able to sustain the focus am I able to attain that special feeling of success.Yes during such prayers, tears often swell up in my eyes. Not the tears of sadness but the tears of joy. These are rare and very special occasions. It is upon the occasion of these times that I feel communication has really taken place. You might call it an indescrible ,peaceful joy.
Praying does not come natural. It is an activity that requires practice and extreme patience.Perhaps some people may be blessed enough to pray at will ,but I must reach that state that soul/spirit is in line to communicate with God.If I am in Church and the Reverend says "Let us Pray",I am often unable to be so spontaneous.I often feel that people are faking and just going through the motions.
Prayer takes a very special state of Being that you cannot just go to at will.I believe that God will respond to Prayer when He feels you are in a frame of mind to Understand.God ,I believe, cannot or will not be fooled or respond to false praying.Such a joy overwhelms my body that I am feeling a certainity that I was heard.Whether or not God answers is entirely up to Him.
Another thing,I never pray for self gain or to aid me through a crises.I believe God only responds to prayers that will effect and/or affect all of mankind. To pray selfishly is making a mockery of God.God is concerned that His people walk a path of Righteousness and not the personal gain of any individual. When we pray for our sick to heal,we are praying for all such sick to heal. When we pray for prosperity,we pray for the prosperty of all.
Prayer is a powerful and important tool for our Spiritual growth. We must not misuse it.Neither must it be abused. No one Religion has a Monopoly on Prayer.Used properly by all Faiths it can provide great benefit to The Human Condition,Misused it will only lead to destruction, devastation, and our eventual downfall.Your Pal larry m

Often we feel His presence nearby. Whenever we get deep in our prayers leaving the outer world untouched to our soul we feel His presence. Sometimes we cry bcoz as all we know that cry and tear are the first communication language between mother and a child.Mothe by crying of the child learns what her baby needs either he/she is wet or hungryor may be getting cold etc. Here mother can be symbolized to the One who cares without any wish for repayment or reward and the child for the one who has turned so innocent that he is unaware of any guilt any wrong deed any sin and only knows that his mother is always with him and never leave him. She will take care of his bread n butter.
Thus we cry when our heart and soul become much pure to be able to contact and communicate the GOD

I do cry and since God is present everywhere, I attempt to remain in His thoughts always. That way I am supposed to be crying most of the times.
The pleasure one gets out of crying (Only for God, which means Krishn to me) is so immense that the feeling is that never before such pleasure has come to us.
I appreciate your question once again. I am your fan. You are already in my contact list.

I will burst out crying forgetting the environment even. It only happens only once a while to be honest. When it happens, my emotions and feelings are uncontrollable by anyone but him.
I am talking about God here not a crush or lover.

I used to see a kid in my childhood who used to cry thinking that he felt God.
Later he was diagnosed as a mental patient and was put into recovery. He was still believing 'his' God but recovered from crying unintentionally.
Recently I asked him a question "Why would your God put you, his beloved son, in the midst of so many non-believers literally making you to live in the hell". Then he cried and said "I feel much better now".

U cry because u want God deperately to fulfil ur wish which no other person can do. U yearn for ur wish and not for God. We always have a list of demands which we call our prayer.

Yes, on quite a few occasions.
Sometimes when I'm listening to a worship song or just think about Jesus on that Cross and I know I have nothing to give Him, I mean how can I touch the heart of Royalty?
But yet He loves me and nothing or no one can snatch me out of His hands.
Thank You Jesus.
