Psalm 56:8 KJV - Thou tellest my wanderings: put thou my tears into thy bottle: are they not in thy book?

What does all that mean? Lots of love all.

Ok...I was raised Christian and currently attend an Episcopal church. I have a very close relationship with God but have had difficulty with how Jesus fits into all of this. I believe in the message that Jesus brings, but I am not sure I believe in the divinity of Jesus. SO my question is, can I still consider myself a Christian if I don't believe in the divinity of Jesus but follow and live by his message?

Have you ever been in a situation where you pray, seek and knock but there is no answer? What can I do? how can I move on? I was in mission field for a while and after I came back to the state, I've been searching for a job because I was thinking that I would go into ministry later so I was looking for job in a meanwhile. I've been searching for a job for past five months but it was hard to find and I was offered like two job but something blocked me from taking it. When I try to talk to my parents about going into ministry that I want, parents are saying "No" and that I should save up money for now. If God seems to be silent on ministry or finding me a job, what can I do? I seem so lost on which direction to go now. What can I do? how can I restore my health? spiritually, phyically, emotinally? how do I know which direction to go if God seems silent on both ways? how can I really restore passion and direction? any suggestion? could you pray for me if you read this? Thank you.

Is The Christian God a God of LOVE or is he a God Of Jealousy, Vengance, and Death.

In 1 John Chapter 3 God is described as a God of love in fact Paul states God is Love.

However in much of the old testament God portrays himself as a God to fear. A god who is jealous. A god who extracts vengefull death even unto his own people.

In the new testement particularly in acts he brings death to two who help back some of their belongings to the new church. and of course the infomous book of revelations speaks of horrible death and destruction to all who are not believers in him.

So I ask how can Love Kill and destroy so much.

When a atheist dies, do they have a proper burial with a headstone in all? I mean if you folks believe that we are just inert matter then you would be content with your body being dumped in the trash? I think it would be unbecoming of a atheist to have a marked grave because if you truely believe we are just inert matter having a marked grave would be stupid because it would be marking dirt, right? Iam in no way putting down your ideology, iam just curious.

I was wondering this, so I decided to take a look at God's work. And this is what I found:

Matthew 27:37..."And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Mark 15:26..."And the superscription of his accusation was written over, THE KING OF THE JEWS."

Luke 23:38..."And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

John 19:19..."And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS."

Which one is right, if any?

Why would God create people, give them no proof that "he" exists and then give them critical thinking skills?

And please don't say that it's all a "test". Give a logical reason, please.

Yet, they don't revenge, they don't resent, they accept their fate. However, the villain dies and the princess ends up with the prince living happily ever after.

Is it what we are supposed to do? Accept our fate without resentment, without hate, without revenge, and any other negative feeling, so that we can receive the reward (the prince) and live happy forever (spiritual life)??

There are '392,859 ' questions asked about God on Y!A,
in fact. On the web there are 634,000,000 sites about 'God'.

What do you think is humans strange fascination with a 'supreme being'? Even those whom don't believe such a thing exists, nor can even exist , talk about 'God'.
Truth, or myth 'God' is internationally popular.

And even though there is no proof for 'God' it is still always pondered that perhaps it just may be real.

-Why do you think that is so?

My friends and I believe that people should choose their own religion later in their adult life and that they shouldn't be instantly assimilated into whatever religion their parents are following when they are born.

I don't believe in a God, and don't necessarily believe in all of evolution (explain the first cell, where'd that come from?). Like i mentioned in the latter paragraph, I still have a couple decades to finally decide on my own what religion I want to follow.

What type of position/religious status am I considered? Some have said I am agnostic and others have said I am: no affiliation.

just if they did the least amount of research they'll discover the word Islam, unlike all the other religions, isn't named after a tribe nor person. Islam means total submission to God and that He Alone is worthy of worship.Another astonishing fact; Islam is derived from a word meaning peace "salam". ironic isn't it. Statistic; between 9/11/01-9/11/03 (2 year period) more than14,0000 Americans yes Americans converted to Islam.why? they discovered the truth when researching the religion the media claims is 'the religion of violence' after not understanding how a religion can promote and require such violence again as the media claims. well they did their research and discovered the truth it's about time the rest of the world uses that wiseness. you see the greatest mistake that apparently more than 1/2 of the world fall for is they confuse muslims and islam. to wrap it all up into 1 sentence; there are black sheep in whatever topic, you name it; background, race, country etc.

If God has Satan on a leash, that means he himself has the ability to destroy, but how can pure goodness destroy things without becoming evil?

I wouldn't be surprised if God turned out to be more evil than Satan. The world would make more sense if they just admited to us that we're all living in hell. That's why all our efforts amount to nothing, and there is no one soul alive which isn't suffering or causing suffering to others.

Nothing in existence is without sin, including God. For thou shall not kill, and God brought forth death to the first born of every Egyptian for that was God's will, along with all the men which forgot and disobeyed God and all other creatures, not to mention the death of his son, and everyone's death from the beginning of time to the end.
Blaming it all on Satan, or Adam and Eve, would be like saying they asked for existence. When all is said and done, goodness does not exist, preserving life is preserving suffering. All that's good is evil.

I was wondering what you Christian women felt about yourself.

Back then when the Bible was compiled men certainly were much more priviledged than women as opposed to the modern days where men and women are treated more or less equally.

That is why you see that all the great poeple in the Bible were all men! Daniel, Moses, Abraham, Joseph, etc.
Well Virgin Marry was a woman but that is only because a child can't be born from a man.

Jesus was a man!

I think there are many verses where women are said to obey there husband or something...

I don't know but women really seem to have a very limited role in your religion so I must assume you Christian women must feel inferior to the men.

I sometimes wonder why Christ wasn't crucified alone.
Perhaps there is some symbolism to there being three, or to the positioning of "one on each side"?

This is a serious question....I honestly wish to have your ideas and input on this.

Thank You!
