some worship god/gods, some worship their chidren, money, power, greed, food, sex, freedom, etc.

we borg make these latest observation. is there any truth to these??

Christians believe in one God. How does the Trinity come into that belief. Is the Farther, Son, and Holy Spirit separate or one deity. If they are one, why the separation and if they are three different beings then that goes against the one God theory.

I hear some people say, "Jesus is coming" or "God is coming" which is it? Isn't Jesus Gods son?

I am not Christian bashing, I really want to know.

i prefer not to practice religion.and to each is thier own.all cultures have thier beliefs and religions(how many is there)what i mean is one religion right and all others wrong or is thier a god for each race of people?why are wars started over religion?why do people suffer,why are oh boy i could go on forever...why do people care who you worship just enjoy life..i think im god ive been called it in the bedroom lots...(joke)..there are no answers are there?

This is from the book of Matthew: "Again the devil taketh him [Jesus] up into an exceeding high mountain and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world and the glory of them, and saith unto him: 'All these will I give thee if thou wilt fall down and worship me.' "

The bible tells us that Jesus is God. If that were true, then of course the devil would have known that. Yet according to this story, the devil took the all-powerful God, creator and owner of the universe, up on an exceedingly high mountain and offered Him this earth if He would fall down and worship the devil, who could not claim to own one foot of dirt! Is it possible the devil was such an idiot? Should any credit be given to this god for not being

This country was found upon greed, genocide, and slavery.

and the first book of the New Testament, 1TheScripturealonians, was not written until over twenty years later? If you would read the book of Acts, you will find that the Church was growing very fast during that period. Three thousand were added in only one day in Acts 2:41, and in Acts 2:27, more were added every day. Acts 4:4 mentions five thousand more believers. How can any Scripture adherent explain this fabulous growth without a New Testament to guide these early believers?
Would an Old Testament Scripture suffice for New covenant teaching?

...you find Jesus’ genealogy all the way back to Adam (a whole 75 generations). When you read that, are you filled with amazement and awe, or does it make you queasy knowing that people really believe that?

I mean really..... And you can not use the 'they are a cult' because I can connect cult with ANY other religion out there..

Or that they go door to door.. Yes, it can be strange in drive you crazy but to hate them because of it..?

Or that they do not do blood tranfusion... If you think about Catholics drink it. Sounds stranger to me... Of course I know it is NOT real blood but they do call it the 'blood of christ'.

Or that they do not celibrate holidays...Think about it, some religions have a bunny that lays eggs and a fat man that snicks into your house to leave your children presents.. Sounds like a perv to me..

So why..?

I can almost compare everything about them to almost anyother religion out there.. You find something wrong about them I can find something wrong about other religions.

And DO NOT try to bring up the they molest children.. Catholic priest are no better.. .

...Do they also see such books (and their film counter-parts) as 'The lost World' and 'Jurassic Park' as evil, as they revolve round evolution and the fact that these creatures existed millions of years ago?
As this would kinda go against their belief that the earth is a few thousand years ago, and that evolution didn't happen.

That is the main reason why there are tens of thousands of Scripture believer sects* in the world today, all teaching something different, and all saying "the Holy Spirit told me". Who has the authority for the Scripture believer to say, "This is the one true meaning of Scripture"? The answer is that there is no authority. It is every Scripture believer for himself in Biblical interpretation which is forbidden by Scripture itself for any Scripture believer to do so, Acts 8:26-38, 2Peter 1:20, 2Peter 3:16.
