I was wondering what you Christian women felt about yourself.

Back then when the Bible was compiled men certainly were much more priviledged than women as opposed to the modern days where men and women are treated more or less equally.

That is why you see that all the great poeple in the Bible were all men! Daniel, Moses, Abraham, Joseph, etc.
Well Virgin Marry was a woman but that is only because a child can't be born from a man.

Jesus was a man!

I think there are many verses where women are said to obey there husband or something...

I don't know but women really seem to have a very limited role in your religion so I must assume you Christian women must feel inferior to the men.

One more thing.

Adam was the only intended human that God created.

Eve(woman) was only created due to Adam being lonely.

That means God never had women in His plan but rather creating women to accompany and please men.

If not why would God not create Eve at the same time as Adam?

Eve was just a supplement ROLOL!

This is a problem with most religions.

I could never be a member of an orthodox religion(e.g., Catholic, Orthodox Christian, Muslim Fundamentalist, Orthodox Jew, etc) -- because they don't treat women as equals.

And I could never be a member of a religion that is not orthodox because they are all heretics.

What a silly question. Just goes to show that a male definately made up this nonsense. A little contradictary dont you think? God created man and only created women to satisfy the men. BUT everyone thinks god is a wonderful loving caring, never judging, forgiving figure? I dont get it. He cant be all this wonderful stuff and also be a pig head male. If there were no women then there would never have been any babies and therefore no more life after these men died out. You compare women to animals,. but there were obviously female animals because the animals recreated themselves... This is the most confusing load of sh*t I ever read and Im dumber for having read it. Oh, also, if God only intended to create man then he must have meant for all men to be gay. Because surely someone so wonderful would not have created something so complex and not known how it worked and how it thought... which was like a stubborn male who thinks about sex all the time.

I am not a woman, however, In the natural women do have different duties than a man! Yet God said that in the kingdom of GOD! there is niethier male nor female. Sometimes it seems GOD! prefers the prayers of a woman more than a man.Maybe because they are more sincere! Dont get me wrong now, a Womans duties are to thier husbands, Yet a man is to provide for his familiy! Persons that really serve GOD! Understand this fully. And yet I have seen women lay hands on the sick and they were healed. I believe GOD does Anything and everything to help anyone to repent! However i have a hard time when i read i suffer not a woman to preach! and if she shall learn anything let her husband teach her at home! I can not understand that till this day! However I trully believe the KJV bible. I believe God DOES what he will and i Want you to pray that he will give me the understanding and Ieterpertation of what this means? God bless you Rev. Ron.

Many cultures are matriarchal and early cultures especially since the women provided the steady source of food for the group (gathering) while the men were gone hunting for days, weeks, even months at a time. What do you think the women, children, and the elderly ate between kills? Many cultures revere and respect women as being nearer to God since they seemingly create new life.

So we should just throw out Deborah, Ruth, Ester and Mary Magdalene as well because they were women. Also you forget how important women were to the early establishment of the church because the actually meetings would take place in women's homes. Your argument does not work because you have no actual knowledge of what you are talking about. You need to actually examine the facts instead of being spoon fed an idea with no proof and you believe it without question.

Men are also told to die for their wives and provide for their every need.

Why is it an issue?? Men are different than women anyways! I believe if more people follow the guidelines of the bible then their would be less Divorces and more complete families. Its God will not man.
And my husband respects and loves me. We both know our roles in life.

Women obey your husband. Men serve your women. They basically say the same thing to both gender and that is "Cope along and respect each other".

And even God Himself is referred to as "He". But the christian women will just slide right through this fact like slippery sea snakes. Or say, "I don't like that piece of cherry, so I won't pick it up."

I find it amusing that Atheist men continue to tell me how oppressed I must feel as a Christian woman. :D

Let's see - my husband has been commanded to be faithful to me my entire life, to only have one wife, to not even LOOK at another woman with lust, to die for me, to love me, to serve me, to fulfill my sexual needs, to provide for me and to protect me.

What are the benefits that an Atheist man would give me then?
