Sweden hasn't had a non-atheist leader in ages and they are one of the most productive countries in the world.

I agree with Clint. Sweden has had atheist leaders for quite a while now and they do not invade others and kill. Their economy is doing pretty well too.

They don't have religion to fall back on and so they must take responsibility for their actions in the present time (unlike theists).

This has got to create a more pragmatic approach to world affairs.

So, yes, i believe so.

I dunno, I think politicians tend to do whatever's in their best interest, at the expense of virtue, and as proponents of selfishness cloaked in a veneer of altruism.

Who would they take a ride to? Jesus? They are mere living creature for their own benefits that they can call humanity. My answer would be, they could not.
