In the Bible it seems that God was not shy talking to us humans. He appeared in a bush, on a mountain, as a voice from the sky itself. He talked to hundreds of human beings. Did fantastic works leaving no question he was there and watching.

But for the past 2000 years there has not been so much as a peep from him. so what happen? did he all of a sudden lose his voice. Did his ability to directly rulle over his people somehow fade.

Where is he now?

Or has he just stopped caring?

Or is it just that the stories of his proactive involvement Just a myth?

Remember I question everything!

God talks to BILLIONS of people every day, all over the world, including me. He wants to talk to you too but for some reason you are refusing to listen.

God seems to be a myth. Whats the point of having an all powerful and all knowing spirit that can do everything and there isn't a thing he cant do, yet he refuses to show his face down here where we need him the most rather than wherever he supposedly is. It also seems god supposedly take care of the wrong doers (which is only pertains to those that do not/did not worship and praise him and etc) such as murders, pedophiles and etc to hell, yeah what a great idea don't help out where it is actually needed but rather on his own time... The bible has a healthy habit of displaying pain inflicted upon themselves and one another and no surprise god couldn't have given a care.

It is a matter of faith that you seek an answer for, an answer no one but yourself can provide.

While many people here choose not to believe in a deity, I think that the fact that our universe formed out of nothingness has something to say for a divine being. However, other argue against that notion. Thankfully, my beliefs do not require them to agree with me.

I think though that, whether or not you accept that God was around and is or is not now doesn't particularly matter. The message sent to us was meant as a guide, we have to find our own path now.

Our job, as human beings, should be to come to a level of understanding with one another, that transcends our pettiness. If god stepped out it is because we need to learn how to work and play nicely with each other on our own. We are meant to ascend to godhood, but only after we prove that we are capalble of the compassion and other responsibilities.

You can say that God is nowhere. I cannot disprove it. I can also say that God is in every cell, fiber, rock, tree, storm, fire, mountain, animal, and human being. Like painter is in each of their works, or a musician in every note. The divine is there, we merely have to learn to express it to hear the notes. Once we do that, as a race, we can become God.

For one, our human minds aren't meant to understand SOME things, but surely, well hopefully, we can find out things after this life. I see it this way; after Jesus was born on earth, killed\died, then His spirit lived in us all. And God is Jesus, as they say, so I suppose that God is The Holy Spirit, or spirit inside us who believe in Him. So, He (God) is in wait, putting us through tests to find out who the STRONG ones are, testing our minds and hearts against weakness, and the weakness being satan's games."Our minds are the devils' playground." Many people has told me that. We are going to be sorted out, good-hearted from bad-hearted, and the good ones will be rewarded in full. This is quoted in the Bible, "Man is measured not by his good deeds, but by his heart." But truthfully, I still have my doubts about everything, cause there's still stuff about Christianity that I don't know.

A double-minded man is unstable in all of his ways.

You think you are smart asking good questions. It would help if you asked a religous question in the context of something other than your own human mind.

The Bible clearly answer all of these questions.

is it just coinsisdense that we are out of the dark ages and don't see god anymore? Maybe those stories about god where from uneducated people that where looking for answers to the unknown, so they made up an all powerful god that will torture you forever if you don't brown nose him. Aw, such a loving god!

well...i try to answer your questions....
where is he now, He is in heaven...
No..., he still cares for us, why don't you try to pray to him earnestly so he touches your heart and filled it with his love? ( i have tried this, that's why i don't think like the way you think about him).
No...they are not myth... he has completed the bible so you can read what he has done in the past, and what he shall done in the future...
Remember, religions cannot save your soul, only Jesus can save your soul, and he will be your Judge in the day of judgment if you choose not to believe in him..
God bless you...

Because of faith God does not wish to appear to anyone. He could show Himself anytime but then faith would not be so much of a word as it is a reason to believe.
