Okay, so we all know we are gonna die. If I truly believed there was only this life and nothing after, I think I would be very depressed most of the time.

This is serious. Mormon doctrine states that the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost are not three persons of the Holy Trinity as the Christians teach, but are in fact three separate gods. But does the Book of Mormon support or refute this?
In Alms 11:28-31 "Now Zeezrom said: 'Is there more than one God?' and [Amulek] ansered, 'No.' And Zeezrom said unto him again, 'How knowest thou these things?' And he said:'An angel hath made them known unto me.'"

Are there any key Mormon doctrines contained in the Book of Mormon? (Answer = no). That's rather odd since the Mormons place such an importance about this book as containing the fullness of the everlasting Gospel. Nothing can be found about that God is nothing more than an "exalted man with a body of flesh and bones", nothing can be found of Jesus Christ being the "spirit-brother" of Lucifer, nor that God the Father has a god above him, who has a god above him, ad infinitum. Where do these doctrines come from if they not book of Mormon?

I am one, and I don't understand why people judge one whole race for the ignorant acts of a few. It's my belief, and I choose to believe in the prophet Muhammad, just like you believe Jesus. What is it about our religion that makes you want to hate us? I think it's jus the government that's bringing us down (ahem bush)

believe that homosexuality is not wrong? You are not a true Christian I am sorry to say, That is not my opinion, but a fact according to the BIBLE, which is GODS word. that does not mean that you hate homosexuals, it just means that you hate the sin. And to say live and let live is wrong because as a Christian we are supposed to let our brothers and sisters know that sins are wrong and will keep them from going to Heaven

If THEY could be saved without so much as ever HEARING of Christ, then why did Jesus need to die? And if baptism into Christ only became neccessary AFTER Christ's ressurection, didn't His coming actually make things WORSE...?!? The loyal Jews who died before Christ came either went to Heaven or to Hell... if they went to Heaven, then faith in Christ is unneccessary. If they went to Hell, then Christ should've come a lot earlier, so they could've been saved too! If Christ is so darned important, how come nobody heard of him in the time of Abraham and Moses? They thought obeying YHVH loyally was enough, and He never said a word to inform them otherwise... (P.S. if you say that Christ came to them after their deaths and gave them the word, then you contradict the words of the New Testament, which teach no second chance after death. And if THEY got a second chance, why not US?!?)

Is faith a "feeling" you have inside you? Can you describe the feeling?
If you have faith in something, have you always felt it?
If no, were you happy before you felt it?
Should faith for something be respected by those who don't have faith in it. Why?

This is not meant to insult or confront anyone.

During her acceptance speech at the Emmy's, Kathy Griffin said the following:

"A lot of people come up here and thank Jesus for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than Jesus. Suck it, Jesus. This award is my god now!"

The Miracle Theater in Pigeon Forge, TN, saw it fit to pay $90,440 for a one-time full-page ad in USA Today to proclaim "Enough is enough".

A friend said it best with the following analogy:
Should married people be offended if she had said: "A lot of people come up here and thank their spouse for this award. I want you to know that no one had less to do with this award than my ex-husband. Suck it, Matt. This award is my hubby now!"?

Jesus said that if someone struck your right cheek, that you should turn and offer him the other (if right cheek was being struck, this implies a slap to the face which would've been considered a severe attack on one's dignity). I must have missed the part about buying adspace to slander them

"A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD: even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the LORD. " ----- Deuteronomy 23:2-3:

If this still is valid, then if any of 4046 (2^11-2) people in the last 300 years which you are descended from were born out of wedlock, then God doesn't want you...

The rate of childbirth out of wedlock in the US is currently 36%, but let's assume that over the last 300 years people were much more moral, and the average is more like 0.1% (This is a ridiculously generous number, especially considering the average has to factor in the current number). Even assuming this 0.01%, this means that there is still a 98.25% chance you qualify and God wouldn't want you in his church...

If this has changed, why did God say this to begin with?

I have just given a stranger $5.00, (Five dollars). He was trying to sale some thing to make money to get home. He was asking $20.00 dollars for the item and at first I said no and drove off. A mile or two down the road I had a change of hart but I only had a five on me. So I turned around and went back to the gas station. He was there when I returned so I drove to him and told him that I didn't have the twenty but I could give him five. And drove away. I don't know if he was lost or not so I asked the Goddess to help him find his path. Foolish or not I did what I needed to do. What would you do?
