I was on a rant about some things that 20 yrs removed hold little importance now but at the time i was livid, she asked me why i was mad at this boy and i told her my dramatic typical 15 yr old girl drama, she smiled warmly at me and asked if i thought the hate and anger i felt was hurting this boy, and i answered no what does he care, and she said thats the point , i was only hurting myself. That always stuck with me, and to this very day i still remember her words, hate only hurts the person whos angry, not saying you should be a doormat but think about things or people religions etc that you hate, in all reality your only causing yourself pain and mental agony.when those your hating are going on about there live(now im not talking about hating things like wars and the like)mostly resentments.I hope this finds you all well who read this love and light.Oh yes the question, can you let go of your resentments without picking them back uP?

Since it falls on a Wednesday, will you skip the trick or treating with your kids to attend service, or will you skip service to go trick or treating?

Thank you!

In a previous question I received this answer

"Actually, some experiments at the subatomic level has shown evidence of antimatter (neutrinos, for instance). If antimatter collides with matter, they cease to exist, and a great deal of energy is released.

Moreover, some of the nuclear quarks also show evidence of popping in and out of existence, so clearly their is more to reality than just our material 4-dimensional time-space continuum.

Live long and prosper,"

So, could a higher being be something we cannot comprehend as well? I mean, there must be more to reality, if there is anti-matter anything could be possible. If antimatter was around in the beginning then, why the big bang? Why would it just be the big disappearaance because the matter collided with anti matter? Where did the matter come from in the first place?

Considering a big majority of the U.S. population are Christians, why don't we have any Christian programming. (7th Heaven and TBN don't count)..i mean, shows with a moral message (kind of like Growing Pains used to have).

1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.

I have been going to a Christian club and a friend's youth group at his house. I am unsure about things and I am in a state of confusion. I would like to become a Christian, but I have doubts of it I should. I am not completely sure if I truly believe it. I also don't really know if I am doing this for the right reasons. My family is not religious, but both my parents grew up as Roman Catholics. I am worried they won't accept me or understand. I also don't know what to do to become a Christian. I basically know nothing and I don't even own a bible. As sad as that is, I want to learn and change to accept Jesus. I need some adivce and support.

I asked this question yesterday, but I want to see if I get any more responses tonight. I really would appreciate it if anyone could give some good solid answers.

Can someone please explain how you believe life was first created? There is the "primordial soup" theory where chemical reactions created the amino acids. How did these molecules evolve into life? What came first RNA or DNA? How did these compounds survive denaturation in a much hotter climate compared to now?

Isn't that what makes it so frustrating to argue?

"God" is just a label, perhaps the most abstract of all labels. The true meaning of "God" is "one who exists."

So for all of you who didn't understand my last question, you could just as well replace God with "He who exists" so the sentence reads, "He who exists does not exist."

So I guess if you disagree, you'll first have to take it up with Webster and argue the true definition of definition.

3 years ago when I was 13, I have been getting visions and dreams of the end times. It started off with a dream that my town was caught on fire, and the whole world too. I kept hearing people screaming and my grandmother ran in my room while I was looking out the window, she kept telling me to hurry and to get ready. I dont know what she meant by this, but as soon as she said that I didn't say anything, and seen her slowly fade away and she disapeared. Then I was on my bed, all was black, I couldnt speak clearly, but kept saying ''help...me.....lift....me...'' really slowly. And I lifted my hand up into the air trying to find someone to grab my hand. But nobody lifted me. Then I woke up. Later I had another dream, the entire world was shaking, and it was the biggest earthquake in existance, it was terrifying. Also, I had a dream of my father who died when I was 12, he was telling me to stop hanging out with certain people that were on drugs, etc... and I said okay, and

Religion- a cause, principle, or system of beliefs held to with ardor and faith
http://www.m-w.com/cgi-bin/netdict?Religion

You hold some sort of beliefs that lead you to not believe in God. There must be a reason for not believing. To say there are no reasons is plain ignorance.

So, to make it clear. My question is not why you believe there is no god, but why is atheism not a "religion?" By this definition it is not as if you need a god. But Richard Dawkins could be your mentor?

is it really neccessary? There are plenty of questions/aspects about the world and the universe that we will never know the answer to. Why can't people just accept that we will never know these things? why do people feel like they have to make up a religion to fill in these gaps?

Wouldn't that sentence be gramatically incorrect?

It would be like saying "He who is isn't."

But if you said "God exists" it would be like saying "My hand is my hand," so it makes sense.
