I asked this question yesterday, but I want to see if I get any more responses tonight. I really would appreciate it if anyone could give some good solid answers.

Can someone please explain how you believe life was first created? There is the "primordial soup" theory where chemical reactions created the amino acids. How did these molecules evolve into life? What came first RNA or DNA? How did these compounds survive denaturation in a much hotter climate compared to now?

I am asking this question to see what people think. I don't need help on this subject. I just want to know of your opinion.

RNA came first. It is a working molecule. DNA is storage.

The exact mechanism that led to life is unknown, but the key was a molecule capable of catalyzing the formation of similar (not necessarily identical) molecules.

The thermophiles live in temperatures up to 105°C. Their proteins do not denature at that temperature. Some microenvironments may have existed at temperatures similar to current conditions.

I believe in the "primordial soup" theory. I believe it explains how God created life rather prove how he didn't. As for the answers to those other questions, who can know for certain? This stuff supposedly happened 3.5-4 billion years ago. Even the most studied archaeologists and paleontologists are mainly going by "best guesses."

the argument from design really is the best of theololgical arguments for god.
it's not the life part.
i can understand that it might be probable that, by some chance occurance, the elementary particles could have some created the first "seed"
it's the "why anything exists at all" that is a really humdinger.
my only hope is that there is some sort of liberal manisfestation of the christian god exists.
if this not so, the idea of the exact biblical christian god existing is absurd as the idea of the cosmos springing forth from nothing.

Honestly, this should be in the science section. If you don't want to ask there, I suggest you do an internet search, or get a book on biology.

After you've done all your calculating, read Genesis and you'll know how it happened.
