I was going to say: "Do you fear the Reaper?" but thought it's been done to death.
Please help, thank you.

How about- Are you afraid of the Yamadutas, who are the most scary representatives of God who come to rip your soul from your body with a noose around you neck and drag you down thought the fiery pits of hell as you pass the biteing snakes and ravaged wolves, just to get your actual judgment. Then I would say but if you fully surrender to Yamarajas Highest authority Krishna (God) you will never have to go through all that. And Go straight up to the eternal blissful kingdom. Or is that just too long. I don't know it does get the point across though.

Might you also say," Are you afraid of death."

I am not afraid of dieing, I am afraid of leaving. What I mean is I am married to a wonderful woman, who will really miss me when I am gone. We have a very large 17 acres that requires an awful lot of heavy labor, of which she is not able.
And although we have money set aside for an emergency, I am afraid that she will have to sell the homestead to make a go for the rest of her life.

She is a Christian and I know God will provide the needs of her life. And one glorious day we will be together again.

How about,"Why do so many people who believe in life after death fight so hard to stay alive?"

I've seen terminal cancer patients fight for months, when each breath was causing them pain. Why would someone cling to life so hard if they knew that eternal bliss was right around the corner?
