Do I personally beleive in magic as a whole is a better question. The answer to that is no. Magic is slight of hand, nothing real or paranormal. Black magic is the opposite of normal magic, it's the evil tricks and harmful charms. So, if I don't beleive in "good magic" then I obviously don't beleive in "black magic".

Wait!!!! If you are a Christin why wouldn't you believe in something so absurd as black magic. Christin's do believe in a higher being that performs "miracles" I'm sure there are black magic spells that are meant to turn liquids to a different form or substance. This is like Jesus turning water into wine...
I mean think about it. Black magic is more believable then the Bible's miracles. For example black magic has spells dealing with love, friends, wealth. Stuff like that. But look at the bible. Moses parting the sea. I mean come on. My point is if your a Christin and you think black magic is to far fetched for you to believe. Take a look at the bible which has 1000 contradictions through out it's pages alone...

Being a Christian with the Gifts of the Holy Spirit...and, having seen and felt the power of that Spirit which is God's Holy Spirit, and being told that there is a devil and demons, a Christian would know that there is an evil supernatural power as well as a heavenly supernatural power.
"Magic" is just a name of using satan's principalities in making things happen....This does NOT mean the simple acts of slight of hand and illusion....
"Black magic" is using the supernatural of satan to conjure and cause mischief and deceit of darkness or for power, fame or riches... the opposite of God's Spiritual powers which is used for good or to battle the darkness...
Even if I didn't know the "good" works of God's Spirit, I would know about the other since it is cautioned about in the Bible.
Peace be with you :)

You must define "christians" and "believe".
Most christians probably do not believe in magic.
And for believe, does that mean acceptable?
I believe some magic exists but it is not acceptable.
supernatural powers come from satan or God. There is a slight chance that there might be latant powers of the human soul from Adam eating from the Tree of Knowledge, but since that fruit brings death we should not seek it, and when you do, you only invite demons to help.

Yes, the magicians of Pharaoh were able to perform many of the same feats as Moses and Aaron using black magic.

I believe that there are spirits led away by satan that will not come and gain a body on this earth and that they want others to be just as miserable as they are and if you invite these spirits into your life then they can manifest things that might be considered black magic. I also think this is were possessions stem from. But I also believe you have to actively be seeking these spirits out and invite them into your lives for them to have any power over your life.

By definition being a christian is believing god and jesus and all that and NOT other things so, someone cant answer this question unless they are christian and cant answer anything but no if theyre christian. Therefore the default answer will be "magic is made up"
