the next big evolutionary change taking place? What new species will be born as old ones become extinct?

Well bacteria adapting isn't really evolution thats just "adapting to your environment". That is common for viruses etc.

And you guys are saying that we won't even live to see another huge evolutionary change? We are only depending on scientists who constantly make new discoveries while discarding old ones?

Interesting question, one i have pondered my self.

Every wonder how many words existed before this one. ?

I am a Christian and I believe in the Word of God, but no where does it say that this is the only world God ever created. That is one reason I don't disagree with flying saucers, etc. Who is to say that God did not create another world out there that is inhabited with other people, either like us or different.
I suppose that if I were God, I would be so disappointed with earth as we know it, that I might like to see if I could make another world, where people would really love me and live according to my standards. Just a thought.

Actually, there was a big evolutionary change that took place not that long ago. Some bacteria became drug resistant.

thats... not how evolution works. Ever heard of natural selection? evolution takes hundreds of years just to see changes like color variation in moths wings, as for new species give it about 999999999999999999999999 years
