I have just given a stranger $5.00, (Five dollars). He was trying to sale some thing to make money to get home. He was asking $20.00 dollars for the item and at first I said no and drove off. A mile or two down the road I had a change of hart but I only had a five on me. So I turned around and went back to the gas station. He was there when I returned so I drove to him and told him that I didn't have the twenty but I could give him five. And drove away. I don't know if he was lost or not so I asked the Goddess to help him find his path. Foolish or not I did what I needed to do. What would you do?

I can't say that I would have done much different myself...

It would all depend.. Sometimes you just get a feeling as you can read a persons body language...

I know I am a bit jaded having lived in the city and seen a fair number of homeless people.. But I usually refrain from giving cash and instead give food or an item they can use...

If you felt good doing that it was fine a good thing to do, in the Bible it says you never know when you are entertaining an angel, but if it dosen't feel right don't give away your money there are a lot of scamers out there.

I hope he really wanted to get home. In that case Good on you. If not then you may have promoted the ungodly. However I would have asked a few more questions andthen gave him $$$ if satisfied.
God is better at helping than Goddesses, trust me :)

You are a good samaritan indeed. I don't know if I would do the same thjing as you. You had driven away and then turned around just to help out. Thank goodness there are people like you around.

I would have called a taxi and a greyhound electronic ticket.

If he really needed it, he'd be deeply grateful.

If he really didn't, he would have no money from me for his deception.

Been there, done that, all except the whole silliness of invoking some imaginary being.

I would have done exactly the same thing. But I would have thanked god (srry catholic) not the goddess lol but I fully agree with your decision and feel it was the right one.
