God can't be real. Wasn't he supposed to make the Earth a couple thousand years ago, when scientists have PROVED that dinasours lived here MILLIONS of years ago? Also, there are a lot of unanswered questions:
1. If God created the world, he'd have to be born before that, so where did he live?
2. I thought that space went on and on and on so where is heaven?
3. Who on this Earth would randomly follow a star? Imagine walking down the street "OOO look, there's a star, I think I might just follow that."
4. When people are unconcious or whatever and they say: "I saw God" it's proven, it's actually a DREAM! :D

I'm only 12, so, I dunno, maybe I'm wrong, but it's a bit sad that you adults believe in something I don't and I'm a kid. It's like believing in the Tooth Fairy! HA HA! Correct me if I'm wrong and if you have anything to add on, your welcome.

that addresses the typical questions that alot of people ask about catholicism?
Not overlycerebral questions, just like the ones most catholics have heard b4, like "why do they pray to mary, or statues" --you know like that.

I am trying to find a pro-catholic book that answers , and explains why catholics believe what they do.
not too convuluted --i dont want to read a 5000 page book on doctrine, just one that answers common questions about catholicism.

thanks .

Do you love the rain?
Is it spiritual for you?
Does it make you feel like you are in a better mood?

Why do I feel so good when it rains, and happy? I also am extremely creative at this time and like to do arts and crafts (in between quesitons). Why does it have this affect on me? It's like a spiritual thing.

There are thousands of different denominations within the christian religion and each has their own interpretation of the bible.
Very often, when someone from one denomination disagrees with someone from another, the excuse is
"Well of course, they aren't true christians anyway!"
I have seen this statement made about protestants, catholics, baptists, methodists etc. etc.
So is it correct that there is no such thing as a true christian?

Ok, well besides the point that god is supposed to know everything and what will happen in the future, but after he creates man, in the bible it says he regretted making man. Thats another story..my question is why would god really care about us? Why would he want us in heaven with him? Think about it, we are supposed to be like ants to him, he would have no purpose for us. And think of how many people are in the world now, and include going back to the beginning of time, why would he want that many people in heaven. If god is all knowing and all powerful, why would he care about us, why would he want us in heaven with him? It really makes no sense, if there was a god with that much power and wisdom, he wouldn't want inferior useless beings with him, why would he? And please don't quotes the bible, think for yourself on this question.

As a Christian who is reading the Bible, I'm having trouble understanding why He doesn't fit into your prophecies so that He is not your Messiah. For Christians, He has fulfilled all of the prophecies of being the Lamb in the Old Testament.

What are the reasons of Judaism that Jesus Christ doesn't fulfill? Just a genuinely curious Christian wondering for my own understanding, thanks!

All answers welcome: Could someone please tell me why I have, at times some real negative energy's that come at me from all sides. (I am not exadurating, if you know me, you know what I'm talking about) I'm not a bad person, am a believer (born again Christian) with an open mind about alot of things. How do I turn a negative situation into a situation where I'm in control, in other words: turn the negative into a positive?

Someone told me once that I can't enter the temple (unless baptism for the deaths) unless I go on a mission, get married in the temple or turn 25. Is that true? I thought that I could 1 year after my conversion. Why is this?

PS: to these non-Mormons who don't have a helpful answer, if you don't want to be flagged you better don't start with your mean answers.... go answer something else.

Because, i believe that to God, 1 billion years to him probably feels like a second, and evolution was like a millisecond to him.

Okay, if your morals are consistent with this - the bible is all yours. I find this to be overly pugnacious. This perspective is very consistent with ancient views that women are inferior. And anyway, when he offers his daughers he claims that they are both virgins. How could they possibly be virgins in such a sex-maniac society? That's complete bullcrap. A couple of new people come into town and people gather around to screw them, but there are people WITHIN the town itself that haven't been screwed? Not logical.
