Often I hear of my own religion as being considered a cult. I am curious though it hat ways would you consider other religions a form of a cult. Like Catholics, Protestants, Jews, Buddahists and any other?

This handicap girl in Canada bought the " Win $2,000 for Life" Ticket and fortunately won.

She is a godly girl who worships the Lord daily. She could not work, and her SSI was very small. She complains everyday about wanting to be fully employed. When she collects her SSI paycheck monthly, she would spend a dollar on her favorite game, which is " Win $2,000" for life... Finally it seems as if God frees her from her worries.

Now she collects $2,000 Canadian every week for the rest of her life.

Even if one has free will god knows what he every individual is going to do tommorrow and the next day and the next. Now if an individual kills someone (which is immoral for most people) God already knew he was going to commit such act.

My question is why is God going to judge us when he knows, when, why, where, and how we are going to things. Because being almight surely he knows the future.

I got it all figured out guys. 50 years ago, couple dudes got together and thought up ways they could destroy Christianity. Jesus thought they should be able to heal the sick if they had faith. Why aren't christians following Jesus's teachings? The apostles weren't Gods, but were expected to heal people.Would not Jesus expect his followers to do the same?

I am asking this because of the number of people who claim to be Christians, but at the same time claim some beliefs that are the opposite of what the Bible teaches.

Is it right to pick and choose and still carry the title, or should you find a different title?? I mean, if the Bible is true, it has to all be true. If you call yourself Christian, you are claiming a certain set of beliefs, namely, the Bible. If you don't believe it, should you claim it?

Bitching to God about the hardship of life is basically crying out to him isn't it? Do we want our daddy here too kiss it and make it better?

It's as if we turned 18 years old and took on our own responsibilities in life, God left it to us. Will we mature or will we fail, God bets against us.

I'm raising my child in the Christian faith, and we have a loving Christian home atmosphere, but I love Halloween - love the dressing up, candy and "spooky" fun. My daughter does to. Are there any of you who don't or who take issue with the holiday?
