Allow me to answer this one.
Mohamed (pbuh) did this as ordered by Allah and as offered by her father Abu Bakr (a.s.). He lived with her only for 9 years and left her as a widow at the age of 18. The wisdom behind all of this is to have Aisha as a student for the whole 9 years to learn from the prophet the manners of an ideal marital life and then teach these manners through Hadith to the Muslim nation after Mohamed (pbuh) has died. Those manners which could not be discussed in a manly forum or in the Mosque coz the prophet would be embarrased to bring to his companions, all were told by Aisha for the rest of her life. As a former wife of the prophet, she would not and could not marry anyone else after Mohamed (pbuh). She was devoted entirely to teach all Muslim how the prophet was like in his home and how he fairly treated his wives. Bless her soul.

Why does John 1:23 quote Isaiah 40:3 and apply it to what John the Baptizer did in preparing the way for Jesus Christ, when Isaiah 40:3 is clearly discussing preparing the way before Jehovah? Because Jesus represented his Father. He came in his Father’s name and had the assurance that his Father was always with him because he did the things pleasing to his Father.—John 5:43; 8:29. Why does Hebrews 1:10-12 quote Psalm 102:25-27 and apply it to the Son, when the psalm says that it is addressed to God? Because the Son is the one through whom God performed the creative works there described by the psalmist. (See Colossians 1:15, 16; Proverbs 8:22, 27-30.) It should be observed in Hebrews 1:5b that a quotation is made from 2 Samuel 7:14 and applied to the Son of God. Although that text had its first application to Solomon, the later application of it to Jesus Christ does not mean that Solomon and Jesus are the same. Jesus is “greater than Solomon” and carries out a work foreshadowed by Solo

Allah said in the Holy Quran:

[50:23] The companion said, "Here is my formidable testimony."
[50:24] Throw into Gehenna every stubborn disbeliever.
[50:25] Forbidder of charity, aggressor, full of doubt.
[50:26] He set up beside GOD another god. Throw him into severe retribution.
[50:27] His companion said, "Our Lord, I did not mislead him; he was far astray."

The "companion" here describes a jin that stays with a person all the time but cannot be seen. In judgement day, he/she will be the one who will say what you have done in your life.

When Islamic law ruled over the Muslim world........ Muslims were the best scientists and educators in the world.

When secular law ruled over the Muslim world....... Muslims became the most backward, degraded people on the earth .

The confusion caused by secular laws clashing with religious needs have spawned the scourage of TERRORISM.

"In the eyes of history, religious toleration is the highest evidence of culture in a people....It was not until the Western nations broke away from their religious law that they became more tolerant, and it was only when the Muslims fell away from their religious law that they declined in tolerance and other evidences of the highest culture. Before the coming of Islam it (tolerance) had never been preached as an essential part of religion...” –Marmaduke Pickthall

Did a preacher in Christianity ever stand before you to tell you they have the entire book memorized every single letter and pause and sentance and can recite them to you on command.. if you have please point him out to the world! it would make sense, wouldn't it? after all, there's no such thing as bad publicity. i'm christian, and i know lots of christians. none of them really believe any of the ''satanic'' garbage all of these televangelists talk about in reference to the harry potter series. the general opinion seems to be that some people just like to make mountains out of mole-hills. that being said, do you think the author or her agent may have paid some greedy preacher to start all the contraversy as a way to boost sales?

Religious people scare the crap out of me, ever since the Dennis Rader fiasco (didn't that guy work at a church or something) now whenever I see religous people they scare me worse than clowns, I mean you could be hanging with them and they are like praise allah, or god, or whatever and then stab you in the gonads with a paperclip, or open up their explosive laden coat and go "LA LA LA" and then blow Cheetos evrywhere, just wondering if the religious are crazier than most in the fruit loopy world.

I am studying comparative religions and Cabbalah, generally, but, I really desire to know the Hebrew/Jewish specifics in that context as I already have several materials as believed/presented by other traditions. I would like to know which books are best for understanding Jewish Theology and Cabbalah and how many Sephira (sp?) there are and what they are. Thank you.

Muslims who understood that the victory against evil cannot be achieved except by unity.. except when we understand that we are Muslims carrying the flag of love and peace to the whole world.. I've been seeking what has been called many things. Some call it "universal consciousness" or "atman" or "God" or "supreme truth" etc. It has been described as a state that can not be described. I read that it is not this or that until all things perish and only it remains. I've read many accounts on how to obtain this truth. I've come to realize that it is veiled by some force refered to as "maya" which is neither real nor unreal. I also understand that when the question of the supreme truth is answered, the "questioner" and the "question" cease to exist. So when we are in the act of asking, we are seeking, therefore, in a transitional state of being. When the question is answered, we have no questions, and therfore are in a non-transitional state. Whatever we do to obtain this truth is, by nature, is a transitional state, whether it be meditation, study, or ANYTHING. Likewise, if we are in a non-transitional state, where does the motive come from to seek anything at all?

As a Muslim I would say that if YOU cant see GOD then dont worship him ?

If I were not able to see ALLAH then I would not have believed in him.

Muslims pray five times a day and this develops the state of "Ihsan".

Ihsan is the state of spirituality where the worshipper can either see GOD or he/she feels God is seeing them.

The heart can see ALLAH and the Islamic prayer (5 times a day +) is the excercise in strengthening that vision.

If YOU cant see GOD then dont worship him.

Are Atheists bound to the morals of religion? Why should Atheists be faithful to their spouses? Why should Atheists have only ONE spouse? Isn't that going against the laws of nature since we are only animals? Where is it said in the survival manual of animals, that one should not cheat on their spouse because it might 'hurt their feelings'? Why is it that Atheists continue to follow the Bible's guidelines for marriage?
Ooooo, I'm in trouble now. Let's hear it! : )
